How to change my skins?
So I purchased all of the new skin's but I dont see a way to revert back to the original skins. I can't for the life of me find a way to change them back. I like the new skins but I dont want to have to uninstall the DLC every time i want to change my skin's.

Am I just missing the button to do this?

I think you need to tick off the dlc on your game dlc list.

It's a very convoluted process which FS have admitted but at the moment have no intention of changing. I'd rather they didn't in honesty as it may take up a lot of resources and man hours which I'd prefer were spent on content. At present we have 2 skins to choose between... So it's not a big issue. In the future if we have tons for each character then it'll become considerably more annoying.

Yeah, nobody would mind an in-game skin changer.

yeah should use the same system for Headgears and just have an additional slot for the Outfits, seems bothersome to hve to unclick/ uninstall the skins to revert back to vanilla

They stated that they might do something like that at a later date, they first wanted to gather the community's interest in skins to begin with before spending time and energy on it.

I seriously hope they'll make more, because if they somehow decide to scrap the whole skin project and go back at releasing two maps per year I'll flip out.

really depends on how much demand they see in the people buying them, doesn't it?

I rather spend my money on real content. Skins not so much.

This system would be much better but we'd just give ourselves the outfits for free. I think FS knows this and it's why we have this bunk system.

I agree. Back when we had 3 map/2 weapon dlc's they were a no brainer. The alternating between free patches, even though they were nowhere near as large were still cool. The skins have different shades so they look off with most of the helms.

The only way we would give ourselves the outfits for free is if they had them in the loot pool for completing maps. I think the other poster was thinking about having the same type of system the helms do but without having them in the loot pool. Still having to pay for them.

He mean to use cheats to get that skins.

As I understand it, Fatshark is still on the fence about whether or not to make additional skins, so that's why they haven't implemented an in-game skin changer.

Cheating to win at a game is one thing, but cheating to get the skins that cost $$ is stealing.
If there system is not secure enough to allow in game skin changing at the risk of loosing $$ then they need to fix that asap.

NO, he mean that if they add skins as part of loot table/inventory in any way - it would be possible to obtain it via cheats, thats one of reasons why we have that clumsy skin system that we have now. And he assumed, that if devs would see that skins have high demand - they would bother to add NEW system, that have not tied to any of current one, to make it safe from stealing.

Yeah i understood what you said, getting the skins in any way other then paying for them is stealing is all i was saying in my reply and that if there system is not secure enough to allow them to have a skin inventory tab then they need to fix it.
