How many people actually solo cataclysm maps?

This is rather weird your way of asking this question, since actually most "solo" runners are mere glitchers/abusers "performing" speed runs : they avoid every fights by all means, if not blatant cheaters or simply don't play in cata while pretending to.

In most cases we're very faraway of an actual gaming performance, legit solo cata runners are pretty rares actually.

Man the ramparts is relatively easyto solo on cata... I can do it on cata no problem and I'm a pretty sloppy player so that gives you an idea how hard it is. I did Cursed Rune solo on cata using the exploit to bypass the end part but I cant do it consistently enough to call it farmable.

I've done all of the maps solo on nightmare now with bots as well. That's quite doable once you learn the maps properly and how to best equip and play to your bots strenghts.

Yeah for sure. I got a few friends that are good enough not to need healing items on cata unless they get caught by a fluke assassin.

It was doable with a little luck in 1.4 with bardin/kruber. 2h hammer and handgun. But since now you cant body shot anymore a packmaster, the bw is maybe the safest way to do.

Well, for the vids I've seen considering white rat for example : this is speed running, not solo running.

The actual difficulty of cata being rats having more health and dealing more damage means : if you keep evading fight you're not solo running, you could do the same in easy for the difficulty level becomes pointless by constantly evading fights.

Are you watching outdated videos, for example the one with the med kit / falling damage negation? You are aware that that is not possible anymore?

Haven't been keeping tabs on any videos for a while now, but most of them out there do seem to involve some form of exploit... not that I blame anyone for doing whatever it takes to make up for the horrible bot performance in this game.

I didn't state than no one is doing cata solo, bytheway : this vid is no white rat, man the rampart and waterfront are between the easiest maps.

Also ww weapons, well...

If the bright wizard is the safest bet it's more likely due to the use of fireball staff I guess, which is now the new trendy strong choice, not as OP than former bolt & TF but still quite strong.
