On the other hand, some people say that you can go over this limit using a borderless window instead of the fullscreen.
However, I've heard of a mod for this game that let's you play on high performances.
Don't know the name or if it actually exists tho, I'm not really into mods.
first, i just want 60fps
second. I am 100% sure it ran at 60fps on my OTHER monitor, I just changed my monitor and started testing some of my installed games and saw this is capped at 50fps because of the 50hz
I told you what you can do. I, myself, can't do anything for "specs related problems" as I don't have such specs in the first place. Wait for someone else if you really can't handle 50 fps. Maybe someone has a better solution, or an actual solution.
By the way, certainly there is a fix out there (as I stated) but is it really worth the weight? -10 fps, as you said, are barely noticeable. Just play the game before editing important files and stuff.
I'm still keen on the idea that the game shouldn't even be able to reach 60 FPS normally (I mean, some people say that the cap is broken, and sometimes it doesn't work) without causing problems.
But even then (I hate to be repetitive) is it THAT much of a deal? People sometimes can't even PLAY this game in the first place because of porting issues or corrupted files.
You are not looking for a FIX, you are obsessed with the fact that you can't use your super hardware accessories on a porting of a 2013 game.
Is like expecting controller compatibility for, dunno, Sam and Max: Hit on the Road (yeah maybe I could have given a better example but you get the point, hopefully).
Just remove the FPS counter on the screen and maybe you'll make yourself a good placebo effect comrade.
Okay I WOULD admit that it's an old port and can't hit 60fps but it's not the case at all. It's a case of terrible config, the game is selecting the lowest refresh rate by it's own. I've played other terrible ports well and fully accepted the fact it's not my hardware, the game is just badly ported. Witcher 1, Call of Juarez, La Noire.
I don't know if it can cause issues for other games so I recommend keeping the "Restore on Close" option ticked so it disables when you close it. Make sure you close it when switching games just in case as well.
