it'd be cool if they patched in the ability to use tokens/coins to buyout a challenge, or charge tokens/coins to reset the challenge(s).
I'm stuck on this one too, I'd read a post somewhere on here from someone "confirming" that on Hold Em if the table has anything say 5 5 10 4 2, and you have A K opponent has K Q(these are just examples to illustrate what was "confirmed" by a user on here) all have a pair of 5's but the high card in hand dictates the winner, it was said on here somewhere that this counts.

But I just won a tournament against Ash, final hand was a Showdown, I had A 2, Ash had J 2.
Table: 6 6 8 Q 10
Result: The Player - Pair - Ace Kicker. Ash - Pair.

Before the results came through I thought I had it because I'd essentially done what the user on the forums here said worked, so either the user lucked out, or they're mistaken.

So I can only assume it has to be something like this. Table: 2 4 6 8 10 Player: A K AI: K Q

^possible but rare, I've played showdowns over and over and over again tournament after tournament and still stuck on this one challenge for the last bounty item from Glados

a tip w/ something I've been trying, get to a setup where it's just you and one opponent, wear them down to where they go All In by default from having a low amount of chips or the blinds higher than their sum of chips, before results can be displayed from the end of the hand, pause and exit the game. Then start PN2 again and select "Continue Tournament", it's a little time to do this each time, but at least you're setup is where you need it to force a showdown and have only 1 opponent until you get it.

When I was trying to fix my game from not loading, one of the things I did was to completely uninstall the game (and delete its intallation folder manually,) then reimstalled the game (then restarted Steam.) Not only did this fix my game, but apon starting a new tournament it re-rolled the objectives. Perhaps you could try this if you're really stuck?
The save file is located in your My Documents folder, so you don't need to worry about losing any progress if you uninstall.

Yeah, so that didn't work.

Edit:I'm on Mac, not sure if that's why.

It's possible. Prepare for hours of grinding. Basically. Fold any hand you don't have an ace... go all in if you do. Sooner or later you'll luck out. Current estimates are 6-8 hours though some have got it sooner. There's really nothing else you can do, it's a stupid achievement.

Ah... it shows my descriptions for the screenies... apologies for the language. ¬¬

Given that I've been at this for two days... working on day three as we speak, I'm guessing your luck is far better than mine.

I have LITERALLY played at least 100 showdowns with A/K high cards since getting this challenge, and still haven't gotten one. I've had ~10 instances where I was looking good until the river, then either me or my opponent flipped a pair/flush.

This is the most effective tactic to make me hate a game I've ever encountered. The first poker night was actually fun, and I enjoyed gathering items and all the dialogue. Now I can't even find new dialogue no matter what combo of unlocks I use, and I want to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shoot every character in the head for making me wait out their dialogue, since poker night 2 had the genius idea to remove skip dialogue options.

FINALLY! After all those hours.... My god that was a pain. I did it by just settling in with the final player and folding on everything that wasn't a face card. Eventually the blinds were cranked way up, and Sam and I had roughly an even share of the money, and he was throwing "all in" every hand. I just crashed the game every time I didn't get the necessarry tools for the bounty, resetting the hand. It took 3 hours of that, but it finally came through (K/3 vs a Q/6).

If you exit out of the game before the next deal it nullifies the hand allowing you to restart the game from the same point. I have been doing this for 2 hours facing only Ash who will go all in with a 4 and a 2 and I still haven't got this stupid challenge. Someone always gets a pair. This challenge blows.

It's easy to win with these steps:
1. Get down to you and 1 computer.
2. Make it to where an All In Bet happens every time.
3. If you win or lose or you hate the way it's heading... go to step 4 immediately.
4. Alt F4 - Reload

You guys should uninstall and re-install the game, it has to be bugged
This game is ridiculously easy...
It isnt hard to win a game with a highcard if you know what to look for...
forget what you have in your hand, you have to wait for there to be a flush (where the ace is suited and in your posession) or if there are 2 pairs... K/Q work best since you have little chance of being bested, but really any high 2 pairs can potentially work... and your card doesnt HAVE to be an ace, K/Q work if no one else hit on aces

The point is, if you want to get a high card win make sure the winning hand is ON THE TABLE
and that you have a high kicker...
or an ace when there is a flush on the table also works... but it has to be in your hand and the flush has to be on the table where others also have flushes and it comes down to the high card

The worst challenge in the game.

THIS IS DRIVING ME UP THE WALL. Every time it looks like I'm going to win Ace high or King high, GLaDOS sets another card on the table that's already there (like a 3 when there's already another three), so if I actually win the hand, it's with a kicker and not a high card, which doesn't count.

HORRIBLE CHALLENGE lsd;jfa;shsdf I've unlocked everything else! I just want GLaDOS's stupid bounty item! I have like 600+ tokens and I buy drinks for the characters in every tournament, but it's not helping much.
