This right here stats it all and thats why I love to do it
That said, I do it once in a while, if I have a REALLY good hand and go "what now? Still in?"
when I have a good hand, I like to slowly string people along so they bet on their own and I don't scare them off...But if everyone just called a raise, I might as well push them over the edge just for fun.
This. THIS pisses me the hell off.
YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE FREAKIN FLOP YET, why are you betting so much?! I have an Ace and a 10 of the same suit and I now have to fold because I'm convinced that you have a pair of kings. >_<
Exactly, it's a strategy.
And all of a sudden here you are asking if a re-raise is rude?!?! LOL!!!
All of a sudden you grow a conscience in the middle of a game based on rudeness??? LOL!!!
On another note... Did you take any stats on how many times the flop helped your strong set of hole cards vs not helping??? If you didn't then maybe you shouldn't be suggesting "YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE FREAKIN FLOP YET".
There's a reason for this strategy and it can be seen on any WSOP or WPT several times.
