Then set the game to render at 30fps in the ini.
You can find it in Steam\steamapps\common\NARUTO SHIPPUDEN Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 Full Burst\dlc which is where also all the files for the HD version are.

Open the ini and look for the line: fps=60 and change the 60 to 30.
In Storm 1,2 and 4 the line says fps=1 and you'll have to change it to zero. But in my case Storm 3 uses 30 or 60 as values so it it says fps=1 for you, change 1 to 0.
If that works for you, you can delete the original game files since the HD version is actually better optimized. You can delete basically everything aside from the dlc folder in Storm 3's root folder and just keep the HD version.

HD is 64 bit, and my system is 32bit. It will not run afaik. Thanks anyway.

But the difference between the two is more than just fps. HD version is a better port of Storm 3, that runs a lot better than the original. Someone who might be struggling to even get 30fps on the regular version just might on HD.

I cannot play the HD version. When I try to launch it I get a message saying my system is 32 bit x86 system therefore I must refund the game as it will not work. I cant refund it (as Ive had it for 3 years now) so unless there is a way to make a 64 bit game run on a 32 bit system then there is nothing I can do on that front. Therefore I want to delete the HD version since it is 8gb of dead space on my HDD.

I know you can't play it. I was replying to wizard master who said it's unnecessary to change the fps of the HD version if you can just play the original.

And as I said, the HD versions content is in the DLC folder which content you could delete but I'm sure some files in there are for your actual DLC.

The correct way of uninstalling the HD DLC is by unchecking this box: https://i.imgur.com/24SrY2Z.png

And that's all. Unchecking that box will make Steam remove the DLC from your computer.

Alternatively, when you click play and the HD ver. is installed, it asks which one you want to run. Just choose the regular one.
