Cornell is tough
I am playing wrong or Cornell is really pretty hard to defeat? I am almost turning on the life cheat even I lose save and achievements.

Yeah, he's tough, 2nd hardest boss, at least for me. Took me about an hour to beat him on Knight-_- Best bet is to parry him 1st phase and always dodge in the second.

Cornell is a werewolf boss? I forgot boss names so correct me if I am wrong.
Basically Cornell's item (boots) helps to defeat him (second phase). So you probably should lower your difficulty to defeat him. And with boots it's easier to defeat him on normal. Also wings helps a lot but they are unlocked later.

Nah you get the boots after when you defeat him.

cornell's your introduction to the lords of shadow, he's basically the difficulty ramp=up for the game, and believe me, cornell on his own is practically final boss material.

Cornell is a puppy. Explosive daggers are devastating to his werewolf form, so just save your magic until he transforms and unload your entire dagger supply into him. It should tear him down almost all the way to his third phase, which is extremely easy and boils down to simply rolling around the arena and occasionally blocking him when he does interrupt you from crushing the statues.

But if you still haven't learned how to do a synchronized block by the time you're fighting Cornell, then nothing will help you.

I guess I have daggers but not explosives.

Are you serious? The game teaches you how to use explosive daggers the moment you find shadow magic. The hint screen after dying to Cornell even tells you to use them.

No wonder you're having trouble, since you won't even read the tooltips and skill descriptions.

Well I just have 5 daggers so I don't think is enough. Cornell is a damn strong bossy.

Nope. If I remember right, he's a boss from the DLC.

Cornell is easy. I did in on Knight difficulty no magic at all. Learn his patterns and use combos on him
