you load the one you want as priority below said mod.
obviously the crashes came from the mods.
little rules of thumb:
1.Large mods that change a lot (preferably only one)
2.Mods that add things like npcs or towns
3.AI and mechanic changes
4.Mods that add small things like a weapon or piece of Armour
5.sound and graphic mods
kenshi gives highest priority to mods from the bottom up in the mods list on the kenshi launcher.
your mods list should look like this:
5. x
4. x
3. x
2. x
1. x
If you follow the general rules above.
following that doesn't guarantee you don't have conflicts but it helps and allows mods that are more likely to crash the game remain stable as they are normally the larger ones and should be found at the bottom of the list.
The only other thing I'd like to mention as it nullifies this entire thread assuming @Nomad did fix his issues the way it seems he/she did...READ THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DESCRIPTION OF YOUR MODS!!!!!
A lot of mods have direct descriptions of roughly where they should be in load order. now maybe the description only applies to the one mod and its affiliated mods, but if you combine their micro instructions with the general rules of thumb Macro instructions above you shouldn't run into many issues unless you have conflicting mods.
The biggest reason I hark on about that is @narkos issue would have been fixed from the get go (even though the load order he/she has isn't the best) because the description of the mod "Reactive World" says to put it in top priority mod area to that it can reduce conflicts are it changes a lot and needs to over write minor changes other mods make.
Hopefully this helps you in the future Nomad or anyone else reading having load order issues.
Happy kenshi campaigns!

While compilations of small changes should be towards the top. That way if another mod conflicts with one of those changes, it can simply override it if needed. Easy example being my Tweaks and Fixes mod, if loaded below Dark UI it causes major issues with the text, but loaded above there are no noticeable conflicts. One of my changes is overridden, but the user gets a better and cleaner experience.
So in short.
Top: Small fixes and compilations of changes.
Middle: Everything else, generally sorted with the important mods to you further down.
Bottom: World state and other world editing mods.
ive done a full comprehensive breakdown of mod load orders here. This should mitigate any crashes for the general public. If anyone has any further questions you can feel free to post me a load order on the above thread and i will get back to you on reddit :)
Perfect thanks! I don't use too many mods since it's important for me to showcase the vanilla experience so hearing this stuff from people who regularly use significant numbers of mods is very valuable.
Hoping this is all still relevant, I am going through my load order RIGHT NOW, going to be removing some of the cheatier things.
