A way to remove characters from the party
Aside from letting them die is there some way to remove someone from your group ? ever since i've watched a Anime when i was little that showed 'sprites' living in there game world i've always tried to treat characters in games a bit more than people.

So i don't like the idea of intentionally killing characters especially ones that have been useful. o.o so is there a way to remove them ,? if not there should be way perhaps they could go on there way an eventually you could find/encounter them again at some point along your journey as they go about their own.

There's no way to do this currently. As for if there is any way of doing so in the future? Dunno. But being that you can just change their name/appearence helps get around that. You could also always just set them as a farmer or something... There's many reasons to have just extra hands lying around. Even as jsut a guard.
there is none at the moment except sending them off to there death.

Maybe but i kinda prefer having just one character most of the time. the only reason i hired more was mostly because my character was a bit to weak to hold his own. but at this point hes a bit more capable so i don't really need them now. its just a personal preference.

That's understandable. For now i guess you could just put them deeper in a larger town and non-combat. They'll just idle around forever until you find the need to use them again.

Would be awesome if you could do this, but then again why not just hire some bodyguards for a week or two till your guy gets strong enough on his own. Would be cool to hire them and then not be able to control them directly.

Yup i'd prefer not having to directly control anyone other than my own character perhaps bullentin boards where you could hire people for specific jobs but wouldn't have to control them yourself. i mean some people don't mind having more than one character but i prefer having just one ^.^

and i don't like the idea of just ditching them in a town immersion wise i would consider them 'friends' or 'comrades' >.< abandoning them in a town o.o seems kinda mean. its like locking things in cages >.< only the 'bad' things need to be in a cage o.o

"Station" them as a guard or "trader" in a shop or inn. Or have them move into a home somewhere with another npc, or solo. Problem solved.

That way you can easily go back to them when you need them.
I understand your desire to just be in control of one character, and have the other's as npcs for hire or other tasks though. It's been said that in the future you'll be able to hire guards for your town, and have npcs join them as non-player controlled units. Maybe hiring personal guards rather than adding them to your actual control-party might be a thing?

Maybe but o.o hope theres atleast some way to choose who works what in my 'town/base' i was thinking like multiple bullentin boards or something a NPC could apply to one post but perhaps be negotiated into doing a different job.

also um.. i don't know how to make them traders o.O how do i force an NPC to be a trader or do you mean more of a RP sense , as far as i know thats not do-able without direct control o.o <.< i can't even get them to take water -.- to the water tower. ^.^ they just kinda glitch an shuffle the building material <.<

but yeah i assume at some point we'll probably be able to just hire personal guard though joining a faction as a 'soldier' might be nice too a nice steady wage a place to sleep..an lots an lots of nearly dying.

Hence why i placed Station and Trader in quotes. You can't officially do that. it was more of an RP thing to stick to your emersion needs.

Yes I have Sent many characters off my squad
Go to the SQUAD tab , find the character you want mouse over them right click on them and hold it , drag the to the bottom of the screen hold them over (don't remember exact word) remove and release right click
go into squad menu. drag character you want to remove to dismiss button.
