Reset Position Settings

Is there a way that I can reset a single character's position? Say a character that is stuck in a wall. Or reset everyone to a certain place that isn't in the middle of nowhere? It's really slowing my gameplay to get ganked in the middle of no where and gradually creep back to my base. :\

reseting squad postions resets everyone.

So I guess I should build my base closer to the default "squad positon" location. Ugh.

No. Reset squad location moves all your units to the unit that was "active" at the time you had saved the game. That being the one you had selected. So there is no "default squad positon".

No matter where I am or who I have active, everytime I reset squad positions it's to the same random spot in the desert where I didn't have anyone. Every time.

dont think its a bug.
but it is a garunteed way to make sure everyone gets unstuck.
to many people didnt know how resetting squad postion worked. so i would think its intentional.

have you tried deleting the wall he was building? always works for me. otherwise you can just pick him up with another character and carry him a bit of distance away from the spot he got stuck in.

My guy was stuck in the wall of a house. After restarting the game he could move again. :)

My issue with the resetting is that everytime there is an update I reset their positions, then I have to run for 10 minutes on high speed to get back to my base. Of course I get beaten up as I go, so I have to layover at another town and heal up, etc. Just an annoyance. I'd love to be able to reset their positions to town A or town B. Just to get back into gameplay.

I only get teleported there on an import. On a normal load with the reset position button I get a reset on the character. Of course I haven't played in a couple of weeks.

Usually quitting the game and logging back in takes care of my characters being stuck or doing something weird. It's on the imports that it gets old. Especially when the bug fixes were going on. I love a fix every day, just hated running every day. :P

There are two ways of resetting the squad positions:

1)Do it while importing and you will be in the middle of the map at the mountain to brink

2)While loading a save, your people will be teleported to the place where your camera is located when you saved the game

At least that is how it is for me

Well if I could aim my camera to the town where I want to go and load them I would, but you can only go so far outside their visual range. So it doesn't help me much if that works.
