Dual Wielding Mods?
Anyone know any bug-less dual-wielding mods?
There was concept art of a female Shek badass that dual wielded katanas, was wondering if that was possible IG. I know you can hold both but only one is used?

there really is no way to add it as it was never programed into the game.

Oof, a shame.

Even if it was an aesthetic of them dual wielding them with animations when they unsheathe. But I see.

Yeah the problem why we cannot mod them in is because the swords are not actually weighted to the character armature. They are coded to lock to a special prop bone and they have coded only one in the game. Well, they do have two, but the came coding makes it so the left one is only used if the right arm is disabled.

There's a mod on dual wielding knives for unarmed combat that creates the illusion of a knife fight.

Yes, those are effectively a piece of armor, not weapons.
the main reason why it as never added was that at the time there where no animations for it for the engine. the Dev didn't rule it out.
we might see it in the 2nd game though. which would be kewl since i like dual wielding. i like using it in another game i been playing a lot, Conan Exiles

If we get dual wielding, we also need shields!
The most obvious choice for defense in close combat.

There is a significantly higher chance for dual wielding than shields, and even dual wielding isn't likely. Chris hates shields, and in the past called them the "water-wings of melee combat". xD

Such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ valid quote, I'm entirely with him

There goes my dual wielding shields idea similar to Elden Ring X_X
only reason why dual wielding wasnt in the first game was a lack of animations. so good chance it could be in the next game.
but bad news for shield use lovers.

As someone who plays a lot of Mount and Blade Bannerlord, and ends every fight with a shield that looks like a Mad Max version of a hedgehog, I 100 percent disagree with that sentiment. Shields save lives people! :peglinyay:

And to pull another Chris quote to counter. xD

"Shields are not needed because any good movie will tell you that arrows can be avoided by doing backflips."
