Best you just do it manually for now.
Two gates, one in each side of the town properly facing outward. My base is also in a pretty flat surface. Maybe I should try to demolish the gates to see what happens or wall a smaller section. Still I don't think it's the problem.
It seems like only either will work.
Plus you HAVE to leave the 2nd job that gets added with "Remove Intruder" in there, or they will just pick them up and then carry them around until the end of time...
Same for the corpse clean up btw.
Manually is fine when there is less than 10, but I'm trying to clear up 50+ cannibals with another raid on the way.
In fact, the issue our local necromancer here is describing actually sounds quite different than the OP's. Characters getting stuck in a loop picking up and dropping bodies, compared to bodies teleporting back to where they died at after being removed. Both involving dead bodies and the job, but different in effect and are thus likely different bugs entirely.
I ran into the infinite loop of just picking up body and throwing it back down in the center of my base.
Come to find out after watching a pack of cannibals run through my wall I learned that at some point in renovating my walls a gap had formed.
I closed my gate and commanded my character to run outside of the wall to find all the gaps and fixed them. Now the throw out command is working as intended.
So check for gaps in your wall. Worth a try.
