"Remove Intruder" ~ "Throw Out of Town" bugged/not working
I'm trying to have this feature to work but it doesnt. When I try to use it my guy just pick a body and go with it to the center of my town, drop it there, than pick it up again and repeat in loop. It seens to think that the very center/start of my town is out of my town.

Maybe my town is to big? I don't think it is, but maybe? By the way the "center of my town" is right in front my first building... maybe it has something to do with it? I tried using ctrl+shift+f11 or even using the shift+f12 to fix the nav mesh but it doesnt change the bug.

Any tips?

How many gates? And all your gates built on flat and even surfaces? Could be issues with the AI Pathfinding conflict with gates.

Best you just do it manually for now.

Two gates, one in each side of the town properly facing outward. My base is also in a pretty flat surface. Maybe I should try to demolish the gates to see what happens or wall a smaller section. Still I don't think it's the problem.

Hi. Afaik it hasn't work for sometime now. Got nothing to do with gates in my games.

For me the issue was that I had both, the throw out intruder job and the corpse clean up job in the same people.
It seems like only either will work.

Plus you HAVE to leave the 2nd job that gets added with "Remove Intruder" in there, or they will just pick them up and then carry them around until the end of time...

Same for the corpse clean up btw.

It never got fixed then, damn. Still happening now. Though I just cleared 70% of the bodies from the town and they all suddenly dropped back to where they died. So they all literally disappear from outside my town then reappeared where I'd moved them from in the first. Literally just dropped from 5 feet of the ground like they where spawning back in.
Manually is fine when there is less than 10, but I'm trying to clear up 50+ cannibals with another raid on the way.

I'll never understand this obsession against renewing old topics. If the topic is still pertinent, why is creating a new topic a better option? Isn't that counterproductive? Creating yet another topic to sift through to find answers? Serious question.

With regard to bugs, it's generally a good idea to make a new report, rather than to necro an old one. Similar bugs may have vastly different causes, especially when separated by years. If you want to reference on old topic, it can be linked instead.

In fact, the issue our local necromancer here is describing actually sounds quite different than the OP's. Characters getting stuck in a loop picking up and dropping bodies, compared to bodies teleporting back to where they died at after being removed. Both involving dead bodies and the job, but different in effect and are thus likely different bugs entirely.

On point as usual Shidan. I am guilty of knee jerking that one, lol.

isnt it obvious?
We only have issues when it comes to bug reports when Necroing old topics. As the reasons for the issue with the old bug report will have changed even if the bug is similar to the old report.

As indicated by my last post, I acquiesce, so let's stick a fork in this one, okay?

In case anyone else happens upon this thread like I did the other day.

I ran into the infinite loop of just picking up body and throwing it back down in the center of my base.

Come to find out after watching a pack of cannibals run through my wall I learned that at some point in renovating my walls a gap had formed.

I closed my gate and commanded my character to run outside of the wall to find all the gaps and fixed them. Now the throw out command is working as intended.

So check for gaps in your wall. Worth a try.
