Bonedog backpack?

so i am assuming bonedogs can have a backpack if they are a adult? i've only gotten pups so....

Also can you buy adult bonedogs?

I don't think so, you could put backpacks on all animals before but they removed that bug.

You can buy adult bonedogs. (They cost more)

Well, actually, backpacks for dogs should be a thing though, cause why not?

I'd make them like 6x6 max (or even 4x4) and they should actually increase the encumbrance, not decrease it, as dogs are not really used to carry things on their backs ;] But the option would be nice.

Maybe some armor too? K9 style ;] Too bad i know nothing about modding ;/

There are two mods for it, I did initially think it was in the base game too because they have the slot for it, but no dice. One mod adds a whole bunch of backpacks for most if not all animals (though perhaps not one for a Leviathan lol, for when you want to carry your whole base on your journeys) plus there's one that simply adds backpacks for the Bonedog instead.

I know mods are hit and miss with some people, but so long as you avoid the crazy ones that overhaul or add whole new swathes of content and just stick to "community fixes" the experience as a whole isn't watered down too much, right?

I modded mine, yes it's OP but as I'm OCD about grabbing everything I see I need the extra capacity...plus, my last played playthrough was 1 man 21 dogs lol ;o)

I understand it can B op but it has a backpack slot....i wish they had just made a unique backpack 4 it it could B smaller then the smallest backpack there is. I mean they look like man-sized dogs anyways and the pups are half the size of a person they should have at least a custom bag.
