cant attach robotic leg?

For some reason I cannot attach a left robotic leg to one of my hivers who lost his left leg and i dont know what to do

100% sure you've got the correct leg? And are putting it in the correct slot?

mhm yup he lose his left and trying to put it in the now open left leg slot for limbs but nothings happening :/

Are you close enough to your squad member? If not that could be the reason.

Are you trying to get the guy to put the leg onto himself?
That never works for me, I have to put the limb into another characters inventory and then use the trade option to attach it.

Are characters supposed to be able to attach their own limbs?

Works the other way for me. I have to put it in person with lost limbs inventory otherwise it won't work.

And for the OP, are you sure they lost left leg. Don't go by the body picture as it's viewed from front of guy, go by the health bars.

yup it says his left leg is gone forever

Can you upload the save? If it's actually bugged the devs will want to take a look, and if it's just something you're missing we should be able to help figure it out. :)

If the leg bar is full of xxxxx and you mouse over that limb and it says "this limb is gone forever" then it should just be a click or drag and drop into the slot. Either from your inventory or a member close to the crippled.

how do i do that

First you'll need to find your saves. Easiest method is to right click the game in your library, then click properties --> local files --> browse local files, and open the saves folder.

Then just find and zip up the affected save (right click, send to --> compressed folder), and upload that to a file sharing service like Dropbox or Google drive, then post the link to it here.

So your problem is you're trying to attach a right leg to the left leg slot. You need a left leg instead, not a right leg. :)

Had a feeling it would be something silly like this. Not the first time it's happened & certainly won't be the last ;o))

The limb UI is backwards, that might be what causes problems with some players.
