Prothetic limbs vs The Holy Nation
Now I've only seen this in a few cases from my experience but it seems the Holy Nation has a bias against amputees using prosthetic limbs; since these limbs are from the very Skeletons they fear/hate.

I like to hear if this can be confirmed by others before I assert this to be certain.

Furthermore, I'd like to hear how people have approached this situation.
So far for me it a simple matter of removing my prosthetic arm and strolling in with no consequences; but for people with missing legs or no limbs at all, how have you approached this?

Me I had this solved before hand, have a token rep for them. I have my undisirbles sneak in their turf and avoid patrols then hide off the beaten path while I sent some token white boy in to trade with them :P I did a run for a while with lots of thieves and females so only like 3 out of 12 people could go into town with out a chance of being stopped and given crap. I mean thieves were not an issue female or schorchlander was their issue... Its just like my outpost I do a "visitor center" as I call it outside the main base but still before my main defense set up. So when I wanted to go public I opened outer gates, and locked the inner where my hives and what not they hated were working feilds and what not, and my scorch smith(s) were at work.

That way they only saw my little white boy basic labor grunt with merch bag I had run goods from the other section to the visitor center shop counter for them. This way I wouldn't offend any guests. Then I would lock up and let the "undsirables" have free roam but really minus turret duty they never left that one section unless in a party leaving the base. But that is the same grunt I used when I needed to go to Holy Nation for whatever reason the gaurds would hide out once he was in reltive saftey, and he would go sell and buy, and come back to them and I would book it out of that area.

But this guy never fought he was trained in STR to carry heavy loads for me, and athlcs by beign a runner or manuall doing laps in the base or all the trips I did early one with him as he was mule sicne like day 8 last tiem I played. He never fought was block only and once he got some skills up he was the first one to run for his life for the gaurds and come back latter with some bandages to do a poor job healing them if they all got knocked out.

I think originally I was gonna use him as plank warrior, but never got aroudn to it he was just the mule entire time. Was just too nice having him move so well with a pack full of weapons for sale to waste. Idea of using another new hire from scratch who would crawl with that same pack load on made me cringe and never give that guy a plank to train with lol

I can confirm this happens; one of my guy has a prosthetic leg and the HN patrol immediately went aggro on him. Wasn't even a skeleton leg, it was a hiver economy leg.

I just avoid having this guy enter HN cities at all cost, and since there are still 4 squad members who are perfectly healthy greenlander, whenever we need things from HN cities I'll just send the others. Now if we're traveling, this cyborg will just hang around the wilderness near the town visited until we've done our business and ready for the next trip.

I think to some degree all prosthetics are from Skeletons, if not that then surely the lack of love the Holy Nation holds against Hivers as the alternative case then.

I do wonder, what would happen if you were to attach a prosthetic limb to the Lord Phoenix himself. Would his Underlings be accepting or outright furious?
You can remove them to placate the HN as you go through their area.
If you leave them on they will attack you.

That much has aleady been established, though it funny to imagen this being easily done if said prothetics were your legs. Being alone would definitly complicate this matter further unless you had companions to carry you.

I might have to make a designated minion for this, I'll call him Leg Day, Legs for short.

You should be able to equip legless party-members in the backpack slot.

I can just picture that, one guy with his crossbow sitting in his mates backpack, and his mate fending off nasties with his weapon. The perfect duo.

Just like Banjo & Kazooie.

Great minds think alike I guess. ;)

(Technically nothing actually happens, but I do love the concept from a lore perspective)

HAH! now that's brilliant, a perfect way to stick it to the Holy Nation.

Kudos on this, thanks for sharing.

Just carry the guy with the limbs?

I have always carried my non-humans through Holy Nation and they do not get aggro.

Think about it, when you carry back that unconcious bounty you do not get attacked....

I does make sense, though I wonder if this can get pass through those "checks" they have were they confiscate your beasts and your non-human companions.

Somewhat along these lines, I just kidnapped a Holy Sentinel and ran him through the Peeler and replaced his limbs with economy robot limbs, and plan to drop him back off at Stack; I wonder how he'll be treated.
