Ive only had people completely stop in the crazy terrain areas like around the ~Glassed Crater, or the bug crater

sometimes theyll turn around and go back a bit to find a different path, ive never had much issue with either, especially if it was for a different squad in an area i hadnt reloaded

its annoying how they wont always go in a straight line across relatively flat terrain because they want to take a road to the city thats slightly out of their way

there are spaces in such crazy terrains that my human could fit through but my dogs had to go around XD pretty rare though

zipup and upload saves where the pathing is bad.

Even on flat ground the pathing can be ugly, i have a base on flat ground south of the ghost village and sometimes.
Btw the crafting stations may need more space around them.
Ofently some of my characters are running aroiund their crafting station or will act randomely and and after 20 to 40 secondes they begin to craft, they will do that each time they will leave the station. I think it is a combination of a pathing issue but also task priorities.
Sometimes you fix the issue by removing all tasks but the crafting job.
The other way to fix it, is to destroy the station and build it elsewhere.
finally the foraging issue maybe the same reason.

You know what later today i will desintall Kenshi and reinstall the game.
(to myself backup the saves this time!!!)

Pathing is a bit weird sometimes and i wish there was a way to make them ignore "movement cost" or whatever it is so i can tell them "yes, cross the lake, swim and save your lives you fools"

Low on electrical power, may be?
When draining battery power, this happens very often. battery power supply seems to take some time to cick in, the worker notices the lack of power and gets to the next job.

Known issue for quite some time OP, please use the bug reporting forum in the future as that is the intended location to post about game issues known or unknown.

This is the first thing i am looking at so no it's not a power issue, i usualy use tons of smallwind generators and tons of batteries.

Nah hes right my little guy has been killed by blood spiders and swamp ninjas a ton because of pathing

Pathfinding is sometimes horribly broken in The Swamp. It's a pretty place with a large and diverse popupation, and unfortunately that population tends to take up a lot of resources.

Make sure you never press r while a unit is selected and moving, too. I sometimes do it accidentally and it cancels movement, leaving them vulnerable to attack.
if you're having issues with the pathfinding try rebulding the navmesh (ctrl+shift+f11), just be sure to save first
ya the pathfinding can be autistic at times so if im trying to have them run somewhere on the map i just put them on passive and spam right click on where im trying to go and they all get there eventually might have some dumbasses fall behind but they will get there sooner or later long as you keep clicking. its like they forget what they are doing sometimes and say eh il just stand here instead
