sometimes theyll turn around and go back a bit to find a different path, ive never had much issue with either, especially if it was for a different squad in an area i hadnt reloaded
its annoying how they wont always go in a straight line across relatively flat terrain because they want to take a road to the city thats slightly out of their way
there are spaces in such crazy terrains that my human could fit through but my dogs had to go around XD pretty rare though
Btw the crafting stations may need more space around them.
Ofently some of my characters are running aroiund their crafting station or will act randomely and and after 20 to 40 secondes they begin to craft, they will do that each time they will leave the station. I think it is a combination of a pathing issue but also task priorities.
Sometimes you fix the issue by removing all tasks but the crafting job.
The other way to fix it, is to destroy the station and build it elsewhere.
finally the foraging issue maybe the same reason.
You know what later today i will desintall Kenshi and reinstall the game.
(to myself backup the saves this time!!!)
When draining battery power, this happens very often. battery power supply seems to take some time to cick in, the worker notices the lack of power and gets to the next job.
This is the first thing i am looking at so no it's not a power issue, i usualy use tons of smallwind generators and tons of batteries.
Make sure you never press r while a unit is selected and moving, too. I sometimes do it accidentally and it cancels movement, leaving them vulnerable to attack.
