Audio doesn't work with Pulseaudio (Linux)
The game doesn't show up in pulseaudio application list and I can't get any audio. I think the game is trying to use the audio device in some exclusive mode.

Are there any options for choosing the audio backend or audio device?

I needed to install pulseaudio-alsa on arch. See if your distro has a similar package. Interestingly, the drmfree version doesn't need it.

I'm also using Arch and have pulseaudio-alsa.

Can you check if the game shows up in pulseaudio application list?

Yeah, it does show up in pulseaudio, but as "ALSA plug-in [Distance]".

Did you customize your pulseaudio configuration? Mine is pretty much Arch's default (except that I disabled bluetooth modules).

Another thing: Have you checked the alsa section of pulseaudio on the wiki? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PulseAudio#ALSA
I'd suggest checking your configurations files mentioned there, like that your /etc/asound.conf is correct and you don't have a ~/.asoundrc.

This is the only game with this issue. I can play dozens of other games and ALSA works just fine with my pulseaudio setup.
