Commentary Mode now available!! (Free update!)

Hi all,

We've just updated Gone Home with Commentary Mode! When you start a new game, choose Enable Commentary from the Modifiers menu to check out the new feature.

So what is Commentary Mode?

• An hour and a half (!) of new audio content, revealing behind-the-scenes info about the making of Gone Home
  
• Insight from the development team, as well as Chris Remo, the game's composer, Sarah Grayson, the voice of Sam Greenbriar, and Corin Tucker, the lead singer of Heavens to Betsy (and Sleater-Kinney!)
  
• Icons are placed all over the house for you to find. Explore Gone Home again, this time for a peek behind the curtain.

Bother, just tried to play (I'd uninstalled the game as my PC is elderly and needed space, so this is a fresh install) and it crashes every time I try to start up - got a message saying the game has crashed and asking me to send the crash report to the devs, though I'm not sure how to go about that... :/

Uh oh! I think there's a workaround for that on www.thefullbrightcompany.com/technical-support/ If you can't find a solution there, either contact [e-mail] or try validating files in the properties of Gone Home on Steam.

How do I get commentary mode? I just installed, removed, and re-installed the game and I don't see any "Commentary mode" option available. I saw a tweet referring to a "Modifiers" menu, but I don't see that anywhere either?

When you start a New Game, the Modifiers button is on the screen with the "Start" button. You can choose your modifiers for a new game from that menu, and Commentary Mode is one of them.

We decided not to put any Achievements in Gone Home. We have Trading Cards and stuff..!
