Linux Dedicated Server - Ubuntu
I've taken on the challenge to run a linux server on Ubuntu by following these instructions:
http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=105484

The server seems to run however you can't access the web admin or see the server in the browser.

I've tried responding to that post above but I've been waiting for my forum account to get active for a few days now.

Let me know if anyone else has gotten this far since the recent update (Incinerate Detonate).

Wow! I didn't know it can install on Linux now. It's downloading now. I hope it will work, because my main PC doesn't run well while the game and server runs at once.

There was happened the same thing.
The KF2-admin page can loaded, but I couldn't login. I tried connect my server by another PC with Windows 7.
The 'LAN' didn't find any server, so I tried with the 'open ip' command. The loading screen appeared by 1 second and instantly drop back the KF2 menu. I tried change my router port forward, but that wasn't help neither.

I think only one thing, maybe it is a sort of firewall into the Linux system, and it's blocking the KF2 ports?
Anyone know something?

OS: Xubuntu LTS (64bit)

I would recommend waiting until the official release and support of the Linux distribution. Trying to do it through Wine is more trouble than its worth. Trust me, I tried back in April when this was first provided.

Unfortunately, it hard to waiting, because of my main PC not enough strong for running the game and the server at once.
So, I have a notebook with Xubuntu, I wanted to try it. But does not work as I said.
And I'm not a rich man for I buy a KF2-sever or an another Windows just because the Linux version does not released, yet.
Therefore, I try take many chance what I can.

I'm still waiting any idea or the KF2-Linux release.
