It's a cooperative game. Therefore there won't be any officially versus mod.

Shouldn't be too difficult to cook up a mutator for this. Simply make players join a different team and let them spectate ZEDs with functions bound to the standard keys that let them do stuff. Also they get to be cysts in trader time.

Maybe I'm remember wrong but I could have sworn I read a quote from Yoshiro or someone from Tripwire saying that they tried a vs mode and that it was a lot less fun than expected so they tossed it.
