Just don't buy it, imo.
It is really good for trash clearing but when you can buy the RPG (and you'll probably have a nade launcher too or M16) then you won't need it.
Continous, timed fire works great to keep heavy zeds under control \ stumble.
Add the ability to skullfunk Scrakes with duds and bro, I'd say it's deffo worth as much as RPG-7.
I hated it at first, but once I discovered guided rockets and learned to use it, I fell in love with it.
Sometimes the extra hits is just what you need to ensure more stuns/knockdowns while shooting them in the head.
While the Seeker Six is better for being able to provide fire support to more than one direction at a time (though... not sure why you would want to do that often on harder difficulties, personally.), the RPG is much better crowd control because of the massively better area of effect.
My biggest complaint about the Seeker Six, besides the fire rate difference between fire modes (there's NO POINT to the dumb fire mode, since it shoots slower, even if you use the lock-on mode without using the scope to lock-on...) is that the AoE effect is incredibly tiny. It's like half a foot of explosion radius when the RPG covers at least 5 meters.
Its a really great weapon for solo, it can clears trash easily, it is also decent vs FP and Scrakes with the low HP scaling, it has enough ammo to last the full waves on HoE 71 Zeds and it's more forgiving for on CQC with its 6 shots.
If you want something more versatile than the RPG, you're better off using the Husk Gun
You can learn something from this guy.
Not dismissing this dude's skills, but just saying, you can make nailgun look like the ultimate weapon in solo offline.
