They are 2 different playstyle weapons, so it's up to someone's preference
SS are actually better for dealing with zeds imo. Mostly because of the emp stun on heavy melee attack. It can block but not as well as the BC.
I'd say either are good but if you wanna target specific zeds SS and if you wanna take on a hoarde the BC.
Statics struggle with range as well as clear, and sideways attacks suffer the most, you might find yourself having trouble hitting crawlers. They are solely meant for aggressive W+M1 into a ZEDs face with the heavy attack being a useful EMP that disables ZEDs for a short time like the Zerker grenade/EDAR EMP so you can hammer away in that short time window.
Example starter weapons are tier 1, hence u can upgrade them 4 time, tier 2 upgraded 3 times and so on.
It is a fact that static strikers delivers far more DPS than the bone crusher. The bone crusher is a defensive weapon, the static strikers are not, those are pure offense and its heavy attack is pretty broken with the ability to permamently emp a king fleshpound until he reaches the shield mode. Please stop spreading false information. Stick to what you are good at.
How do I give a steam comment a thumbs up? Smh, volvo add pls.
Ye boi, stick with the ol' Crovel
The only downside is that it covers up half the screen
