You know your team is bad when...
thread about in-game things that make you know your got a bad team. Small or big noticeable/unoticeable things most people ignore unless you pay close attention

ex

you know you have a bad team when:
-you get more headshots than a GS/sharp
-firebug or demo take the husk cannon
-medic has the most kills
-someone other than the medic has the most heals
-guy keeps dying even after given dosh
-someone takes the nailgun
-people shoot the big zeds before you can stun them

edit

-zerkers that take skimmerish over dreadnaught in endless on higher waves where tanking >>>> damage
-zerkers that do no block/parry big zeds
-demos who take frag rounds
-people who unweld trapped demo doors
-headshot KILLS on people other than the GS/Sharp

Wow, so many acidic rounds haters. Personally, i love them. Their (even little) chance to cause big ZEDs panic can be a lifesaver.

oh i got my gripes, heres mine if i know its bad:

-a berserker is using off-perk weapons
-a firebug is using a flamethrower against a large zed
-people physically standing in front of you when you're the sharpshooter
-everyone dropping everything to adress the singular, unraged, at a distance large zed
-a siren who gets to scream more than twice within lethal distance
-everyone is bleeding like a stuffed pig and you're the field medic trying to keep the flys flying into the zapper alive
-you look to see if your back is covered, then 3 seconds later a crawler you swore would of been spotted is lashing out because your squadmate stopped covering your back

You know your team is bad when...

you got some whiny "pro" tryhards gamers, and you are having fun in the game where global stats dont count exept the third party site full of cheaters in the top

so whats the point to tryhard? its not a competitive game

You play medic, people let FP / SC kill you, take your AR and sell it, left you without weapon and dosh, then blame you for no healing efficiently.

According to many people, it's a competitive game...

No I don't get it either

Because try Harding is fun and addicting? Darksouls isnt a competitive game (as far as I know) but it's fun because if the challenge - it it was easy it wouldn't be as fun.

Same can be said if KF2 - at least this is how it is marketed.

The more "competitive" players keep their own records where the difficulty mutators stats are kept as well as any restrictions (like banned weapons) or notes so that other teams can attempt to dethrone them.

It's a lot of fun and I highly recommend checking it out, there's no other game out there like controlled difficulty KF2.

Also the kf2statsde (?) website is just for vanilla play which is bad because it lumps endless with survival scores - useless. In addition vanilla is a terrible place for a consistent challenge since maps play a huge role in difficulty as does the RNG spawns you get. It's entirely possible to get less than 10 FPs in an entire 10 wave game - when with mods you can ensure you get 30+ on a single wave.

Playing well and playing with decent players = fun

Is that such a hard concept to grasp?

situational but acidic rounds has its uses
if you use it with the hemo and zedative it can work for boss waves tbh. If only teammates go full 1/2 a brain cell and start trying to close in on the boss.

Acidic rounds is best on early waves to make husks/bloats/gorefiends panic instead of ripping your team up.

The damage buff skill on the left isn't incredibly useful in early waves as it's nearly impossible to tag someone 5 times in 20 seconds with pistol/smg

i can relate to all of these
specially the medic one

Eh, I'd rather provide my team with darts 24/7. Idk maybe it's just me, but I prefer to play full medic - that means watching teammates' health constantly and using guns only when completely necessary.

i'd perfer not being a babysitter that has to spam darts like lolipops to keep the babies in line from dying.

Really you can still spam, unless you go hemo, your allies just won't get get buffs.

That's kinda the healer's job.
I would be kicked of the raid in WoW if I try to kill trashs rather than healing the tank.
I would be kicked of the game in Overwatch if I play Mercy and focus on killing / capturing points rather than healing my team.

I played many games, who include classes / perks (mainly as healer) and I noticed one thing, healers focused on healing, tanks focused on tanking, dps focused on damages.

I don't see why people think this should be different for KF2, if you look for damages / kills rather than healing, just don't pick the healer role, just pick another class and keep a cross / off perk medic weapon.

My biggest gripe that has to do with players is when they shoot they big zed while it's not raged with pea shooters to rage it again.

So many times have I thrown a freeze nade only for it to be wasted because somebody decided to shoot and rage the Fleshpound before the nade went off.

However, as they keep adding more OP weapons for trash killers like the FAL which can kill a FP in one mag on Commando, it matters less and less, which isn't good. It rewards low-skill and low-risk gameplay when you can handle all trash and not have to rely on teammates in a cooperative game.

Then you also have people that (who should really burn IRL) sell your weapons on the floor that you are saving because it is boss wave. If those hell spawns wanted money, they should've asked. Not only do they go off and die like a f**king idiot, they also cause you to have less firepower, hence either ruining the boss fight for the team or making it take way longer. Think of the time difference when you have two Railguns or M99 on the boss wave and you can drop one and pick up the other in your kite path.
