Edit: oh ♥♥♥♥ they were.
Though it should be pretty obvious that foster was used as promotional material with TF2.
The keyword is 'Mercenaries' not soldiers
I mean look out at their back-stories. A british day-trader gone gun for hire. And a survivor that also became a gun for hire.
Don't they just stick out the pile?
I mean who wouldn't want to be a survivor and then became a gun for hire to kill zeds?
Fits the "RE" vibe don't if just?
there it is.
DJ Skully has a good V/O though (Axton from BL2 + Warmage from OMD)
Also as KF1 emoticons' descriptions say:
DJ Skully - uncommonly hip, cool, psychopathic and deadly.
Mr Foster - just like DJ Skully. Except he was never hip. Nor cool. Psychopathic, on the other hand...
Mr. Foster has sorta become the face for killing floor as its unofficial mascot. As for DJ skully, probably the design is also nice.
But my favourite in KF1 were Commando Chicken and the Reaper tho.
