-You can solo with console commands as the above poster replied. However this disabled achievements and XP gain.
It doesnt matter what it was never meant to be played as, the game was never meant to have 100 person servers but there they are/. you were always meant to only play the original maps but theres custom maps, there was never meant to be voice mods but i replaced the annoying french trader with microsoft sam, it doesnt matter, people brought the product if they're not hacking and ruining the experience for everyone else... (big whoop in a co-op game where noone co-operates) then it should be allowed to be.
Third Person? Was never part of the game to begin with and is partially just left-over code from the Unreal Engine in general (which Tripwire, to some degree, uses for a spectator camera, but that's it).
Corner peaking around walls to see zeds spawning and know how many on the other side is sorta cheating in a first person game.
If you read the previous posts, you would notice that third person can be activated via command but disables XP. And SAME applies for 100 players capacity on a server, XP disabled. Your logic fails.
