Gold items

How is it that gold weapons look atrociously like a block of cheese compared to a item your character can equip such as the golden Discount T-Rex head? Its mind boggling.

Might be becuase the guns have a lot of flat/smooth surfaces, while some wearables have a more rugged shape. I'm glad the golden guns don't look too amazing as they are rare and expencive to get. As oppose to the golden guns in the first Killing Floor which looked way better, but were purchasable for a good price.

That's why I had mixed feelings when I first saw the gold skins. It's like oh, they're the victims of a manipulative dlc scheme...but oh. they look like crap anyways. I don't really feel tempted to buy them.

I want carvings on the precious items. AA12 for example is just pure gold but no carvings as what it actually had back from KF1's version of a gold gun.

I honestly hate all of the golden items, the only positive to them is that people want to buy them for outrageous sums of money. So if I ever get another one the game is essentially paying for itself.
