Port Gold Balance

The amount of gold each port has is laughably small. for instance, Nassau, a town that is "very wealthy" has a grand total of 18000 gold.... enough to buy the third ship, maybe??? ports need to have their available gold 10x. especially when i have 600 carrying capacity. which is incredibly small as I only have 2 ships and can have 7....
