Quake II
What addons do you want for Quake II?
I’m hoping for the following: Citadel and Slight Mechanical Destruction to name a few. Surprised we also have Quake 64 and a brand new campaign for the remaster.

Okay, if the RTS mod Quake Wars was an addon that would be impossibly amazing. Or that other RTS mod I forget the name of that let you command an army and take control of one of the soldiers if you want. That would be PERFECT.
Will they be adding more mods and level packs? There's no mods option in the menu like in Quake 1.
and plan's for adding Gloom ?
Zaero, Juggernaut, PS1 version.

I had an multiplayer addon back in the day called Netpack: Extremities or something. Not sure if that's included here.

netpack 1 : extremities

the only multiplayer add-on distributed physically in big box that was directly selected by id software. a lot of these maps / campaign / episodes are now free on the web, but, yes, it would be soooo nice to have them right here, right now.

quake 2 remastered has been a godlike work but, i don't know, it looks like it will not receive any mod support.
I would really like to see these added in as a dlc or add-on.

1. Juggernaut

2. Zaero

3. CodeRED - Battle For Earth

4. CodeRED - The Martian Chronicles
In the last few years people have created some really excellent Quake I levels, I hope this comes over to Quake II.
At this point... Anything. Anything would be good lol.

Although "Juggernaut" caught my attention the most. New enemies, new weapons and the voice over all seem pretty interesting.
Unfortunately, it's been confirmed by sponge (Mike Rubits of id software) that the Q2 rerelease is not going to receive downloadable content updates in the same way the Q1 rerelease did, mainly due to Quake 2 mods using native C++ rather than the more portable QuakeC. Mods can still be made for it and run with it (if compiled with the rerelease source), but only via third-party downloads, and of course console owners are sadly out of luck.

The PSX campaign, if it is released, would likely be directly integrated into the main game installation and appear in the mission selection menu, along with the main game, mission packs, COTM, and Q2 64.

That's pretty disappointing news. At least I still have YamagiQ2 for mods.
Rocket Arena!
Bots for CTF

Rocket Arena, Chaos DM/Cry Havoc, Generations, GLOOM, Air Quake II, Catch the Chicken.

For those asking for Action Quake 2, That's already standalone on Steam, called AQtion.

Is there an easy way to get these mods on and working with steam?
Does anyone play Chaos?
