AKA Leisure Suit Larry Goes Looking for Love (in Several Wrong Places) remake. I bought this game day one, but now I want a sequel! Damn, I want remakes of all Larry games, even 7 (which isn't that old IMO), plus would be nice if they would create fourth and eighth part too...

Hello everyone, I'm no longer involved in any way with Replay games. But for a brief moment there were talks about Larry Ahern (Curse of Monkey Island) possibly taking over Josh Mandel's role as designer for the sequel. I have no idea what the status is now, but for the most part anyone involved with the first Reloaded has moved onto other things. I'm not sure how long Replay's deal was with Codemasters, but hopefully whoever (hopefully) picks up the rights will consider bringing on Jeff Birns and N-Fusion Interactive Entertainment who I believe did an amazing job with the development. Incidentally next month I will be seeing both Al Lowe and Josh Mandel along with a few other friends who's names appear in this games credits. No Paul wasn't invited.

Hi irishmile! Probably you don't remember me but I was involved in the development of Larry Reloaded too! I prepared Polish translation of the game :)
It's good to know that you are still in touch with Al and Josh. I hope you will learn something new about the future of the series and you will share with us the information ;)

When last I exchanged e-mails with Al Lowe we were trying to get another deal to get another game out. Although Al was open to the idea, it sadly didn't work out. When you see him, tell him "Hi", he probably doesn't remember me at all.

If ever there will be a new Larry game, I'd be glad to help with localization into German or Tagalog or Chinese.

As for Larry 2 Reloaded, it needs a lot of work but I DO NOT want Mr. Trowe involved with it given his... shall I say penchant for perversion?

His exploits are much too explicit to look up here, but he is a sad man that is worse than Larry Laffer himself.

Replay Games was sold to SK Telecom in 2016. The mobile game had an update last January.

Paul Trowe is now a lifetime registered sex offender, after some things involving underage boys in 2012, and sending a gay porn video to a 15-year old girl in 2013.

right now I'd say the odds of a Larry 2 reloaded or another Larry game being made in the next 5 years is about the same as Faith jumping out through the monitor and flashing her boobs at you.

Larry Laffer is dead, probably for good, and Larry Lovage had a game called Island Tale (aka Cocoa Butter) which was a direct sequel to Magna ♥♥♥ Laude, which had the plug pulled on it when it was 90% complete.

As far as I can tell, Codemasters still has the rights to the series, they gave a license to Replay to make the game, but that may have expired. SK Telecom is the largest telecom / phone company in South Korea so they have an interest in mobile games. So their primary focus is LSL: Reloaded mobile.

Why did they buy Replay Games? there's Paul's side of it and there's the truth. According to Mr. Trowe, he wanted to exit the industry, but he's currently working in San Francisco as a coder. Then there's the truth: After Paul got arrested for sending a gay porn video to a minor, basically everyone from Josh Mandel to Al Lowe jumped ship. The sale was just Paul's way of ditching damaged goods. He is supposed to stay on as a consultant to help with the transition. After Paul's arrest, he did a scorched earth policy, and burned almost all of his friends and the people who helped volunteer with him -- I know Jeroen Dekkers, Serena Nelson, Tom King and Irish were all banned from the site and Replay games refused to pay Al his royalties.

But long story short. Al Lowe is 71 years old. He probably just wants to retire and take it easy in peace.
