Would terrain destruction like shown in the mobile game "Solar Smash" be possible in US²?
I'm sure a lot of you have heard of that new trending mobile game known as "Solar Smash". It's really fun, but it's not exactly "realistic". For example, if you hit the Earth with a large celestial body (such as the moon), it will extinct the human race and cause the Earth to heat up massively, glowing bright red and killing everything on its surface.

In Solar Smash, if you hit the Earth with the moon, it'll cause a massive crater, but the planet wouldn't heat up, and people survive. Solar Smash isn't realistic in this sense.

However, what I do love about it is the terrain destruction. Seriously. Cut the Earth in half, drill a hole in it, smash the moon into it and cause a giant dent in the Earth and in the Moon as well, sometimes the Moon can penetrate all the way through and what's left of it will make it out the other side.

I was wondering if this aspect from Solar Smash could be possible to implement into US²? It's a nifty feature, and it would definitely belong. We've got all the other key components, and this would be a massive game changer. The thing is, we already have destruction, because we can make craters and the like. Although you can only have so many craters and they're not that deep, either. But this would be like that, in a sense, only if you just cranked it up to 11.

Seriously, who wouldn't want to see the Earth get cut in half?

I'm not a developer but I know they're working on SPH stuff. Once they're done with that they may implement this kind of thing. But right now it's impossible since each object is one object rather than a bunch, and are hard coded to be spherical.

I'd love to see this. I like the game Solar Smash a lot, but it kills my eyes to play it on a tiny (at least compared to modern monitors) smartphone screen.
