How do I change the gravity of an object?

so i was making a planet have a solar system when i came across a hd planet and it tore uranus apart. i wanted it to tear the sun but I couldn't get it to do that. the planet is about 7 jupiters in mass ( i changed it that way ) , does that make the gravity stronger or is there a neat setting that can help me do this. please help because i want TOTAL DESTRUCTION

you need to give it more mass than the sun and then put it near it but not too far away that the sun would just orbit
