My MP-Strategy [a Guide for a friend]
I don't think, I am pro, but I know I'm good.
How the Title says, this is a personal guide for a friend, but if you think, I could do anything better, please let me know.

SIN's TREE
Step 1:
I ALLWAYS unlock at first:
  • Archive [Room]
  • Barracks [Room]
  • Obey [Spell]
Archive simple because to get Cultists to get Sins.
Barracks to have Melee Units (and they will mostly train all the time)
Obey to obey my Cultists to get Sins even faster and on Imps so that they work faster.

At first I'm looking for the portal, and dig directly to it.
On the way to it, I will dig out a 5x5 area to build an Archive. [If the portal is right next to me, I build it to the way to my other priority: Second Portal, Gold Shrine, Mana Shrine,...]

Step 2:
1. When I'm RUSHING, I unlock in this order:
  • Beast Den [Room]
  • Forge [Room]
  • Blade Lotus [Trap]
  • Rampart [Defense]
  • Garrison [Room]
  • Prophecy [Spell]
  • Enrage [Spell]
I don't build a "beautiful" Beast den, I but it anywhere were any other room (except from the lair) wouldn't profit from this place. (Like a really weird 1 spot snake line way). Sometimes, if I do not care (for example, when I'm rushing) I dig out an extra area.

The Forge is really important, because the Chunder is a cheap and easily to unlock Tank. (He is more powerful at is seems)

Blade Lotus is a filler.
Rampart is a filler.

I build the Garrison there, where the enemy is most likely to attack, because the garrison is buffing the walls and the creatures (increased the Reg.Rate of your minions and Walls aren't that easy to take down, for your enemies). Further to the Ogre is the ultimate Melee Unit. He is a Tank, Stunner and deals quite good damage.

I use Enrage, when I'm attacking his Dungeon Heart, or when I just started to attack him/her. Increases speed and I think also the attack speed or damage?

When I rush, I want to know, how my enemy is building his things, how many minions he has, and is his Dungeon heart easy to attack. That's why Prophecy is useful.

When and where do I rush?
I rush in small Maps, were the enemy is really close.
Timing is also really important. So being fast with getting much minions. (Build much different rooms as fast as possible. But mostly I can build 5x5 rooms, but sometimes it's good to build 3x5 rooms)
And when I think I can overrun my enemy, I attack. Mostly I spy a little bit with Prophecy.

2. When I need to get the Underminer:
  • Beast den [Room]
  • Prophecy [Spell]
  • Enrage [Spell]
  • Underminer [Construct]
Prophecy, simply because, It's important to know, how near your enemy is and how he/she spreads out.

3. When I'm preparing for a longer Match:
  • Forge [Room]
  • Beast den [Room]
  • Alchemy Lab [Room]
  • Work-A-Lot [Potion]
I choose the Alchemy Lab after the Beast den, because I want to get some melee Units, before I get ranged ones.

Work-A-Lot is as important for the rest of the game, as Obey for the beginning.
I THINK Obey increases the efficiency up to 150%
I THINK Work-A-Lot increases the efficiency up to 200%
Since the 1.1.22 update, you can't use Obey on minions who are under the Work-A-Lot Potion. But if you're using Work-A-Lot of minions which you obeyed, they profit on obey’s side effect.
I heard from another really good player, that he obey his cultists and then he dropped Work-A-Lot of them. Because Work-A-Lot of a sleeping Units is useless.
I simply drop it into the Archive, when there are 3 or more units are working there.
Also I drop it often into the barracks, because the minions will level up faster. I mostly grab a punch of minions drop it into the barracks and drop the potion. Most of the Minions will train there.
Sometimes I use it on my Imps as well (particularly when I have a Gold shrine).
I almost use it non-stop

Step 3:
Step 1 and 2 are mostly the same for me, Step 3 depends on how I want to play, and which Hero (Behemoth, Archon, Eternal) I want to pick.

Most of the time I follow with:
  • Crypt [Room]
  • Prison [Room]
  • Blade Lotus [Trap]
  • Barracks Upgrade [Room Upgrade]
  • Archive Upgrade [Room Upgrade]
  • Rampart [Defense]
  • Garrison [Room]
  • Spirit Chamber [Room]
  • Torture Chamber [Room] or Underminer [Construct]
  • Archon [Hero]
Crypt, because the Necromancer are a huge advantage. They are working in the Archive as well, summon Ghouls and attack.
To increase the numbers of Ghouls 1 Necromancer has, you have to sacrifice some Minions (just but some Beasts in, because they are lvl 1 anyway, aren't that important and will respawn quickly) and have to have to be lvl 6 or 7 (Train them in the Spirit Chamber).
If I have some weak prisoners (lvl 1-3) I will drop them into the Crypt.
(Thanks’ to another friend, he told me most of that)

Prison, because to minimize the enemies Minions. Further to I convert strong or useful minions or sacrifice them in the Crypt.

I go first for the Barracks Update, because I'm focusing on training my units. I mostly have a larger barrack (5x7, 5x9 or one 5x5 another 5x7).

Archive Update to profit even more from the "Work-A-Lot" Potion, when I drop it into the Archive.

After that I want to get more Melee units, because a Army of ranged creatures are easy to defeat. That's why the Garrison, and because the Garrison is too damn useful.
How I said earlier, the Ogre is the ultimate Melee Unit. That's why I train him in the Spirit Chamber, he will get even more and more stun abilities (on lvl 10 he will stun nonstop).

Spirit Chamber, clearly because to train my important minions, but ceep in mind that training in the spirit chamber costs gold. Furthermore the Witch Doctor is also an extremely useful unit on the battlefield (healer and on lvl 10 he can revive dead minions).

After that I will decide what's more useful for now, Torture Chamber or Underminer.
I mostly pick the Underminer, because it's mostly more useful. Further to I want to get the Beast den Upgrade.
When I decide to unlock the Torture Chamber, I must be rich X'D or I have some good creatures in my prison.

I mostly choose Archon, because he is fast to unlock, good in the battlefield and works in the archive. But mainly he is fast to unlock. After I got Archon and he left my heart alone, I caging it, so that no one ever will hurt it. Like a little emo kid...

Step 4:
I will get the Beast den Update and/or get Behemoth. Or if the rush failed.
[Step 4 start's after you got Underminer]

  • Haste [Potion] or Arena [Room]
  • Magical Meat [Spell]
  • Beast Den Update [Room Update]
  • Ember Rift [Construct]
  • Haste [Potion] or Arena [Room]
  • Behemoth [Hero]
I unlock Haste, if I have an Alchemy Lab, otherwise Arena.

Haste is good if you want to do a Blitzkrieg attack. (if you are near at the enemies heart, drop the Flag to it, take all a punch of minions a little bit behind your last spot you won, the second hand at the last spot. Now drop a Potion of Haste and they will run way faster, and you can do a lot of damage to your enemies heart.

When I take the Arena, only because I need some more Minions, but I really don't like the Beast Master. He is weak and is only a Supporter, and on a low lvl a bad supporter.

I choose Magical Meat, because I can, and it can be useful (Magical Meant into the Archive or Barracks and your minions wont leaf the area for a snack). Further to, when I rush and my Minions want to eat, and I forgot or don't wanted to build a Slaughtery, I can summon some piggy’s.

Beast Den Upgrade, is self-explanatory.

Ember Rift are expensive, but really good. You will always have 2 Ember Rift-Minions from 1 Ember Rift. They are fast and do some damage. But keep in mind, that they are really expensive and costs some Mana.

Behemoth
He is a good stunner, can deal good damage and can take a lot of it. Furthermore he can walk above Lava. So he can be a really good distraction (I lost 1 game because, I was permanently fighting against one Behemoth after the other).

Tips
The very beginning:
  • After I unlocked everything I need. I Dig directly to the Portal. On the way to it, I dig out a 3x3 area to start even faster, after my Imps are almost done with that I enlarge it by 5x5. Further to obey my Imps as often as possible.
  • At first I build 3x3 Archive, enlarge it to 5x5. And I will non-stop obey my cultists.
  • After that I build a barrack in an area where I can enlarge them quiet good (I mostly go for 7x5 or 9x5)
  • Now I build the 3rd Room or 4th room.
  • After that I will build a Slaughtery and Lair.
I build the Slaughtery near the Archive and the Barracks, because those are one of the most important rooms.
The Lair is mostly behind my Heart, surrounding my Portal and nearby my Barracks and Slaughtery.

Objectives Priority
  • Get as much and as fast portals as possible. (Perhaps steal it from your enemies’ side)
  • Gold Shrine ffs! You need money, you get infinite money. If you own it, Drop Work-A-Lot on it, yoru 4 Imps will mine that 1000 Gold in seconds!
  • Mana Shrine, It's always nice to have it.
  • Round Thing where you can see what's going on around it. (on some maps, you can directly see into the enemies base.
  • Anything else what you thing could be usefully.

Small Tips
  • Steal as much Gold as possible from your enemies side, you can mine yours later.
  • Generally be fast, faster as your enemie
  • Use Work-A-Lot all the time
  • Use Tranmutation! You will get more money as you spend for it. If you want maximal profit. use a 3x3 area and drop it in the middle (You have to dig 1 in to reach the middle part)
  • Cage in your Dungeon Heart. It will stop the enemie to just attack your dungeon heart and ignor your army (But please, if you Minions are defeated, open it! It takes hours to get all the terretory to your dungeon heart and place an underminer)
  • When I attack, I kill at least 10 Imps. So that I have more Mana, to Heal or Enrage my Units
  • Pick a Hero before you do some action
    - Pick Archon, if you have a massiv amount of creatures.
    - Pick Behemoth, if you don't have much creatures and/or want to attack.
    - Pick Ethernal, if you have to defend yourself.

When to do an Attack?
  • I mostly don't attack, but when I do, will go for his Dungeon heart.
  • When I attack and my target isn't his Dungeon Heart, I try to steal minions (Prison), or I want to distract my enemy (steal his Portal or Gold shrine. It should look like, I will attack him, but I want to be on my territory).
  • When my enemy attacks and I defeated his attack, I will do a counter attack!!!!
  • When I rush, I have to have many minions and mostly melee units.

Behemoth Rush
I want to add this one as well, because on small maps, this is the best way to beat his opponent, but doesn't fit into my Steps.
A Behemoth Rush takes 5-6min + 1-2min to defeat your opponent.
  • Achieve [Room]
  • Beast den [Room]
  • Obey [Spell]
  • Enrage [Spell]
  • Annex [Spell]
  • Underminer [Construct]
  • Arena [Room]
  • Prophecy [Spell]
  • Beast den upgrade [Room Upgrade]
  • Ember Rift [Construct]
  • Volcanic Bridge / Magical Meat [Spell]
  • Behemoth [Hero]

Yes Garrisons increase the durability of wall. Halves the damage it takes from explosives and enemy workers. Mendechaus will tell you this when you first get one and you can always play the line by using the help button. :)
