The music pass includes nearly all DLC tracks. To quote Podmon from here:

There are only 6 songs that are DLC exclusive.

I was looking into buying this but I will just stick to Switch and older versions emulator. I do not mind paying for songs, but I will never, ever pay a subscription, even if it's $1 a year. I've made much greater sacrifices than a rhythm video game to adhere to my principles. It's a shame that the only official PC release sucks ass like that (also performance issues... use vsync, LMAO).

I guess I'm gonna stick to my Drum'n'Fun on my Switch with nearly 400 songs (which are delisted from the store... guess what's gonna happen when songs get delisted from your garbage subscription)... what a sham.

the subscription is totally fair. it's $10 for the entire three months and basically endless songs, that's probably the best deal I've ever encountered from this franchise. the base game however is overpriced as usual and useless without the subscription.

You need to tab across to the sub pass, and if its still not their reload the came it'll be there.

Ok yeah, they aren't in the library proper. I found it though, thanks.

I also just realized that these songs are all karaoke and not the original tracks or vice versa. One guy did a particularly poor rendition of one of the Naruto songs I've heard 1000 times and immediately knew it wasn't the same. So, we don't get full songs and we don't get the original singers. I wonder how much these royalties really are?

Subscription services suck and the songs will all be removed in years to come as the game stops being supported.

Played on Switch, and honestly by the time I got through the base song list, I was starting to feel burned out. There is actually a lot of content here, and then there is the paid DLC as well. You really do not need the DLC or subscription service unless you are super obsessed with Taiko no Tatsujin, like the game is your entire personality and its the only thing you know you are going to play religiously.

With 700+ songs in the subscription, its obviously not meant for most players.

It already happened on the other consoles. The base game Steam release is from November 2024, so currently, no song has been removed from the Steam version "yet". But if you already played the game on another system, and expected a song to be there, well, it's not there anymore.

Honestly imo this game isnt bad, but i can see why so many people dislike the subscription since it just doesnt feel like you own the game. i like going to play this every now and again but literally all of my favorite songs are locked behind a subscription i cannot always pay...
