I have the game on switch and the subscription is much better than people give it credit for.
I hate the fact that the community is so used to getting songs for free through mods that they refuse to support the game when they add a subscription service for a fair price that adds over 700 songs into the game…
And plus. This game has more base game songs than most entries in the franchise… so I don’t know what you’re complaining about…
I don't want to pay for a subscription. I want reasonably priced DLC packs that I'll know will be accessible for as long as Steam exists, even if the game should be delisted for some reason.
no for once this isn't an "osu player" moment. the base songlist isn't half bad imo but locking 99% of the content behind a subscription service where songs can and do just drop off it when the license expires is. iffy.
i am not into subscription services as a general rule and in this case it means most of this game's content has an expiry date of unknown timing. I don't really blame anyone for not liking that because as a long time player of rhythm games for over 20 years, I sure don't? I'm disappointed that awful nonsense got brought off the switch
rip
Precisely. And one of the first things I saw when I went to visit the website for the game was songs being removed from their subscription so even that isn't consistent.
Seriously though, $5 isn't that much. It's the same on the Switch as well.
and it looks like they will, guessing that they ditched Rhythm Connect, and ported Rhythm Festival to PC.
Can always get it on sale. I probably will. Anything but mobile games.
