On a more serious note, I love driving a variety, so I have a huge selection of cars built up to either C or A class, and chop and change between them every single race. But I have noticed a few that seem to excel in certain areas more than others, and so will default to those in specific situations and on specific tracks.
*) Buggy is a great C class track racer, very fast and excellent manoeuvrability for dodging oncoming busses.
*) Bulldog is the same as above, but for gravel surfaces instead of road. Has great grip on the loose stuff.
*) El Matador is extraordinary in C class - you can absolutely max out the armour, yet it will still run with the fastest cars out there. For any other car with so much metal bolted on, they're reduced to the speed of a snail.
*) Gatecrasher is a good all-round machine in A class...decent speed, pretty tough, good handling. It's my default A drive on open circuits...
*) ..while on A class destruction tracks I most often use the Dominator. Got some good weight and survivability behind it, and while it's not the fastest, it can withstand a few backwards bus hits before dipping into the red, so can often snatch top tens or podiums just by outlasting other stuff.
*) Honourable mentions to the Panther RS, Hammerhead and Warwagon for being really good cars and looking really cool, the Cardinal for being a really good car, and the Blade for looking really cool (although it's pants in a race).
Normal: A tie between the Vandal and Little Thrasher.
The Boomer, and Boomer RS, seem like good cars to run in clean racing servers. Although their small size certainly is good for getting through gaps that other vehicles can't do as easily. I feel like they are the best compact vehicles in the game, admittedly.
Semi-Clean: WarWagon. Fast even when armored, fun to drive, sounds mean and can take a beating. With locked diff and suspension on 1 it's a monster on bumpy tracks.
Clean: Unarmored 5151 Bulldog. It becomes very agile and drifts super well.
Oh, yeah, the Warwagon is bit of a beast when armored up. Made mine resemble the Hevy Impaler from Carmageddon.
The Bugzilla? Yeah and also the Tournament mode has a weird obsession with throwing you into that thing for the every other day challenges. Straight up that thing is my most practiced vehicle because of that.
Oh, and the OG Hammerhead with no armor for Rally Trophy.
