Mac version doesn’t even download

The Mac version is a 19 byte download, and results only in a tiny and unlaunchable Buddha.app. What gives?

I assume it's because the game was made for 32-bit version of Mac and you're on the 64-bit version that killed off 32-bit compatibility?

I have no idea how that would alter what Steam downloads even if I were. And no, I haven’t upgraded yet for exactly that reason.

I don’t think a 19-byte version of this game would run well on literally anything. (For the mathematically challenged, the game should be approximately four million times bigger than this.)

Is there a way to force the 32-bit depot on a system that can run 32-bit software?

I’m attempting the download_depot Steam console command I just found on a Google:

download_depot 225260 225267 8685249674077302435

Will update on how that goes

For anyone else: Follow the instructions you can find online for rolling back to a previous game version. Just use the right depot ID (in this case, OSX, not 64bit).

It looks like the 64-bit depot is now updated and can be downloaded. It may need a full uninstall / reinstall to work on Catalina.
