I totally agree, especially when it comes to melee.
This is correct, here's a video demonstrating: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCR2ZzmS4_8
It's called iron sights. A new concept for most I know, but I think if you use them you'll do just fine. Even still just keep this in mind, the cross hair never moves, the world does, so just make mental note of where the iron sights are and you can ussually hit something at close range, just takes practice
NOT A THUMB TACK lol. Like the sticky putty stuff. Electrical tape works better. But honestly you may as well just cheat if you're gonna do that
Right now after about 20h of NMRiH, i can pretty much hipfire with the same accuracy as aiming down my sights, its just a question of calculating the distance based off the weapon in your hands.
In other words, with time you will know how to center your FOV and shoot whats in front of you from the hip.
Blue tac isn't a thumb tac :)
This is a game, I want to be able to start it up, join a game, and play. If I wanted to shoot without a cross-hair, I can go shoot a real gun.
Besides, if they were going for "realistic", they would have some oppressed ethnic group to shoot instead of zombies.
Well have fun at the gun range!
Hah. ;p
ive been playing L4D 2 like that for about 4 years now.
