Star Ocean Till the End of Time?
Given that we have most of the Star Ocean games on Steam now; What are the chances we could eventually see a remake for TTEOT? I'd genuinely love to see the game fixed, as the original version crashes a ton, even on the PS4 digital copy. Almost made it through the game's bonus areas (crashes got so infrequent/unpredictable i lost patience), so would really love to see the game rebuilt/given new life like this one.

Great game. Shame they added the mp death system, didn’t like that much. But yeah really beautiful visuals and a great crafting system. If I remember new weapons visual are displayed in the battles

Inb4 people come to complain about the plot twist despite how good it was.

SO3 is my favorite game of the series. My favorite characters are from SO2, my favorite combat from SO4, but my favorite overall game is definitely SO3. I'm a real sucker for optional and postgame content, and SO3 has that in SPADES. I also greatly enjoyed its worldbuilding and story, both before and after its divisive plot twist.

I'd love to see a full-blown remake, but I highly doubt that'll happen anytime soon, or ever, since it's already a 3D title. We might see a remaster port to Steam, though.

SO3 had the best options for voiced cutscenes too. auto-progression, no subtitles. so it just plays out like watching a movie.

I'll tell you the "chances" when I get my time machine working. No offense, but why even ask a question you fully know none of us have the answer to?

Some people like to speculate. It's what fans of a series do. Why do you care so much?

Just use PCSX2 it's fully playable if you hold x and triangle or whatever keyboard keys you have mapped to those when you boot the game to enable progressive scan mode.
"Most of"? There's like, 2 games on Steam out of 7

it was before they turned it into literally duckstation and abandoned the old, far better graphics and controller plugins. now its impossible to map anything to the soft press so progress is completely locked at a certain point in the game. youd need to get your hands on a like 2-3 year old version to actually finish the game.

Then speculate, hope, but don't word a question asking for an answer you 100% know no one knows the answer to. It doesn't make sense. This is especially true with a company in an extremely bad position and could fold at literally any moment.

It kinda reminds me of the junction system in FF 8. I think they were experimenting with this release, like they did with FF8. Yea, the mp system kinda sucks, but i still like Till the end of Time.

Technically not true, you can map the circle button to the triggers of your controller to get the hard soft press distinctions. I should know since I had to do that myself while playing through it again last month.

I'd buy SO3 if it came to Steam, I just hope it doesn't have 50,000 battles or 50,000 monster killed Steam achievements. That would take foooorrrreeevvverr!
