No, thanks. This guide is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Before some update of Steam client, 2-3 years ago, everything works fine. I want to get back my registration code for windows live to play normally.
Please, give us link referring to Microsoft or Valve/Steam document why they (Valve/Steam) has removed our keys!
Until then I want money back. Because you broke the game!
It worked for me. After disabling GFWL my saves showed up again.
go ahead and ask for your money back.
good luck with that.
p.s. if you really think the setup guide is ♥♥♥♥, it proves you don't know ♥♥♥♥.
if you lose your saves made while playing on GFWL, you can find them in the GFWL folder and move them to the Fallout3 save folder. if there's no FO3 save folder, you'll either need to save in the game to make one and then add your saves, or just create one yourself. it's not hard.
This issue does not touch the another game, Dark Souls, FYI. As I know Microsoft Live was closed for developers, but is NOT stop working for already published games. Meantime, I am sure that missing product key to Windows Live on Steam will broke these games: Bioshock I/II, Fable 3. So, the problem much bigger then just install bla-bla-bla.
go try.
