Bethesda needs to add achievements to fallout 3

They updated the game last year to fix a few issues so i think they need to update the game to add achievements so it gives people a reason to revisit the game.

I just downloaded an older version of the game through Steam (depot) with GFWL enabled. When you install the latest version of GFWL, you'll need to sign in and enter a CD Key. You may be able to get Steam to give you the key. I have a physical copy of the game and the CD Key worked.

Some people like Achievement Hunting and with Fallout 3 its not like they don't have them like some really old game they have the Achievements so why not add them into the Steam version, all that said I also get why people who play the game with Mods don't want another update so I get both sides here, myself I'd like the Achievements simply for the nostalgia of it but I don't wanna make the Mod people do extra work, I just Love Fallout so its fun for me either way:)

That was my point I want achievements but not if you mod people have to pay for it in your time so its also a no for me unless we could work something out where you mod people didn't get f00kid over.

Well they did have them when live still worked. But when they took live down all the achievements went with it. I remember steam did have them at that time but when live went down they never transferred them.

A: Fallout 3 uses Games for Windows Live to unlock achievements, not steam achievements. Bethesda didn't switch to steam achievements until Fallout: New Vegas

Actually they did have the achievements on steam, I remember because they took them away after new vegas, along with half my achievements from New Vegas I had earned, but now need to re-earn for new vegas, which I never got around too but still may.
It was a double wammy for me at that time and probably alot of others.

I was just quoting the guide that you linked to there. I was running the game from a goty disk about a decade ago and the first utility I installed along with it was Games For Windows Live Disabler, as I wanted nothing to do with that cancer. frankly, I could do without cheevos.

wish I could buy you for how much you're worth, then turn around and sell you for how much you think you're worth. Had your 'cheevos been included and nothing else altered, you'd have been happy as a pig in poo with this current steam version, of that I've no doubt.
