Intro:
Fallout 3: Unlock all achievements in 1 minute!

This guide will show you a quick and easy way to unlock all the achievements for Fallout 3 on PC as well as the expansions. If followed correctly you can unlock every achievement in the game in 1 minute!

DISCLAIMER:
The method used to unlock all these achievements is cheating because you are not meeting any of the requirements to unlock the achievements. However, the game itself is incredible and if you are only playing for achievements then you entirely missed the point. If you choose to use this guide to unlock all the achievements the quality and content of the gameplay remains the same.
Requirements:

A copy of Fallout 3 on Steam
- The origonal copy or the GOTY Edition

Games for Windows Live installed on your PC
- Must be running while Fallout 3 is running
How-To:

At the main menu of the game press the “~” Key on your keyboard to bring up the console command. On most keyboards this key is located directly under the Esc key.

Then type the following text into the console and hit enter

“addachievement 1”

Then open the console again type in the same command but instead of using the number 1 use the number 2, which would make the command say the following

“addachievement 2”

Repeat this process until you have gone from the number 1 to the number 72.

An easy way to do this is to open the console and press the up arrow on your keyboard to bring up the command previously used. Then just change the number and hit enter.

A: No, again this is a feature that is built into the game. There are no negative consequences from using console commands.

Q: Is this cheating?
A: Yes, I would have to say this this is definitely cheating because you are not meeting any of the requirements to unlock the achievements. Q: Why doesn't this give me the the Steam Achievements?

The guide is still relevant as of 24.04.2024, you can get the GFWL achievements after some manipulations.

1. How to get the GFWL version from Steam: https://www.trueachievements.com/forum/viewthread.aspx?tid=1380361

2. I didn't own the GFWL version of the game before, so I bought another game that still comes with a game-agnostic GFWL game key (this key is basically needed just to log into your Microsoft account from the GFWL overlay): https://www.trueachievements.com/forum/viewthread.aspx?tid=733774
The game mentioned in the link is not available in the Steam store atm, but you can use https://www.allkeyshop.com/ to find online stores that still sell it; Kenguin is one of them.

I can confirm that the game does work excellent on a steam deck. possibly even better than it ever worked in windows. No achievements though.

Shame that you can't use these cheats anymore. Now that this game has ditched GFWL. I would've loved to have earned some more achievements in this

I only tried using it because I thought it might stop the constant crashing. It changed nothing.
