you would think that bethesda could do us all a favor and just make another patch to address all these issues. The F3 community is still really active! Also @benwah thanks for you rlink :D

If you use FOSE it disables LIVE

It is crashing because there is a problem with xlive.dll or the dll is missing. Don't just download the dll. The chances are you don't have Game For Windows LIve. Download and install GFWL as BenWah says.

It would be nice, Ive only counted 20 people since yesterday that have bought the game, and with 4 announced, interest in the others will increase. Re-makes have been done on far less popular games...

FOSE is probably the easiest way to disable LIVE. Plus, it's mandatory in a lot of the bigger, better mods out there, so I'd download it just for that reason.

When I tried to run the loader for the first time I got " xlive.dll is missing ". So I found the file on the internet and installed it. It was some Windows Live stuff. Now when I run the loader, a command window pops up and then closes down. And that's it. It doesn't run Fallout 3. What do I do?
