No game is like Postal 2. Pisstal 3 tried to be like it, but failed horribly. This game is very unique and original.

Duke Nukem 3D from 1996 feels like an early inspiration for RWS. It's vulgar, it's violent, it's fast-paced, it takes place in realistic locales for its time, it has a lot of environmental activity, and it even has the mighty boot! It's not a sandbox game though, just a non-linear maze type of FPS.

But uh, avoid Duke Nukem Forever what ever you do.

Duke, Shadow Warrior, South Park FPS, and Redneck Rampage will come sort of close in terms of 90s attitude and humor, but NOTHING can fully nail Postal 2. You could always find offensive MODS for those games? Or just play more Postal.

Nothing like Postal 2: hilariously funny, super offensive, sandbox, 10 year old game regularly (and lovingly) updated by the devs. That particular combination of gaming element requires a certain type of genius. Nothing like Postal 2, not even close.

If you don't mind swapping a FPS with a point-and-click adventure, then there are a lot of similarities between Postal and Harvester:
- Both take place in a town full of axe-crazy lunatics.
- Both are NOT politically correct.
- Both are violent.
- Both contain a lot of gore.
- Both contain adult humour.
- Both require the player to engage in "normal, every day" tasks (to an extend).
- Both contain meat processing plant areas that would NOT pass a health inspection in RL.
- Both are old games re-released on Steam (OK, this has nothing to do with the game contents).
