Please DO NOT add steam achievements

Achievements should not be the only motivating factor to 100% a game. Its the in game elements that matter most, and having players focus on those as primary objectives is key.

I agree with you, I like achievements, but on other platforms, because steam has this vulnerability of unlocking with a hack, and besides, it's not very useful, it would be cool if it had a leaderboard like on xbox and the level evolved with the achievements and not cards.

Achievements have never been the only motivating factor to 100% a game. Almost all games have achievements by now so whatever you're playing you're going to be unlocking achievements anyway.
The achievements feature does help bring the game to modern standards, as well as cloud support and probably other features I'm not remembering right now, features that all other games have.

Ubi is not very serious about their Steam release, they are just trying to cash in on the money lost from ignoring Steam and are still trying to get their player base to migrate from Steam to their own service/launcher. I think that's the main quarrel here

I can live with that fact that someone hacking achievements or time spent on game. I don’t use consoles cause I don’t have friends with them, there is no steam activity and steam community with guides for getting an achievements or different tips or fun facts.

Platinum system I don’t like neither. You can get easy platinum in Dishonored and ignore challenging dlc. That’s unfair.

I respect your opinion, but disagree. Achievements serve its purpose by marking/dating milestones and giving the player a sense of accomplishment. While i'm glad you feel you don't need those things, you're failing to see the bigger picture.

You might wanna go to ubisoft forums and ask them to remove the achievements than, as there are achievements :P just not on steam

Achievements would be good, because Ubisoft just uses Steam like as secondary launcher, They doesn't spend any effort for Steam and yet they doesn't give Steam KEY (cause we own this game on Ubisoft connect) as sorry.

They should add Achievements at least, we're not asking for Badge / Emote / BG / Card stuff, only Achievements

at least only one thing we want as "Steam" Community
