I found all the 30 Handprints but the Achievment wasn't unlocked

Why? I found all the 30 handprints but the achievment wasn't unlocked.

The most likely answer is you didn't find all 30.

Though there have been a couple achievements that didn't immediately unlock for me. Dodging the Scagdead instant kill attack (I did actually dodge it but it didn't give it to me and I tried again but died...THEN it gave it to me), scanning all enemies (got the last one and it delayed for about 10 seconds before giving it to me), and the handprints (my final one was in the long hallway in the lab area, I scanned and didn't get the achievement until I had gotten to the end of the hall).

It's odd and quite possible you're getting a delay on the achievement. If it flat out doesn't give it to you, verify you got all of them with another playthrough (I know...it sucks) with this video.

Also, keep a save at the start of each chapter just in case.

Edit: It's unfortunate that there's no way to check progress on a couple of the achievements. I think if you finish the game it should give you a checklist. Don't say exactly where they are, just something like "2/3 handprints in the lab" or something. Just so people can see where they need to look.

I recorded myself scanning all of them to make a tutorial for my channel. My last one was the one in episode 11, in the fight with the Malacoda (the infected whale) but didn't unlocked the achievment, even when I finished the episode. Despite the Steam being a very good plataform, it is still sucks for achievment and stuff.

I found them on different difficulties. Is it because of that? A bug perhaps?

Have you checked residentevil.net? Did you get the bonus gun? If not, then the game itself did not register all scans. Otherwise Steam f'ed up.

Edit: Damn, looks like RE.net doesn't track scans. I thought they had a "web badge" or something like that for it. But you should get a bonus weapon for the 30 prints (Handgun G18).

No, it doesn't matter. I did my initial run through on normal and got 10 or so. Did another run on Infernal in which I found the rest.

Also, RE.net does have the web badges for handprints.

Seriously, they've hidden handprints on boss fights? I hope they haven't done the same on those timed sections

But well, at least the ones that you've scanned before don't show again up when you go on a new game +

well theres ur problem. the last handprint is in the room where you fight the final boss. Face Norman and on the wood under him is the last handprint.

Thanks, I checked and I have only the web badges of 10 and 20 handprints.
I will check again the scenarios but it's very strange since I've recorded all of them.

I scanned this print in my first run. I said "my last one" saying that it was the last of the 30 handprints.
