How does Gluttony work?
I'd always assumed that Gluttony takes ammo from amongst the 3 weapons you bring with you, but lately, I've been noticing my handgun ammo disappearing, even though I don't bring handguns with me (I'm always rifle/shotgun/mg). Now, this only started when I began getting serious about Ghost Ship runs and regularly found my ammo dropping to ~100 rounds by the end. When I go replenish my supplies at the store, I see the handgun ammo down to around the same amount. I've seen this happen at least 3 times now.

Is it possible Gluttony is grabbing ammo from ALL my weapons, even the ones I don't bring with me? And if not... well, how is my handgun ammo vanishing?

Ha, learn something new every day. Guess I don't need to carry the machine gun all the time now, unless I really need the extra few bullets from its Cornucopia.

You can bring it to get basic ammo drops for it. It adds the highest amount.

You do need to bring a machine gun with Cornucopia and ammo magnet parts during ghost ship mission as it will let you recover your machine gun ammos and get ammo drops when enemy killed (at the time you hold the machine gun). Once you arrive the final deck, your handgun will be still full (280), and other not carrying weapons are also full.

Little offtop: If you already got Gluttony 5 from TB in GS, try now to get Auto Load 5.
Gluttony 5 + Auto Load 5 is combo killer, best one in the game.

L. Hawk "Speed Shot" +30, Gluttony 5, Fire Rate 4, Auto-shot and Auto Load 5, used by Lady Hunk. With firing speed 3.75 (+70%), Which enemies can stop her? Only ghost Norman?

What a waste of slots....
Auto Shot and Fire Rate you can throw away and pick better parts.

+ Thunder Raptor is better than L.Hawk Speed Shot.

Unless you can obtain rare Thunder Raptor, L. Hawk is still the best choice. After all, it's the modified weapon of L. Hawk. Auto shot and fire rate are not waste. Since its firepower is good enough, so with this two parts, you won't miss any target, no waste ammos and won't be bother with pressing left side of mouse. The final accuracy can go up to 96-98% after you finish GS mission. Thunder Rator is excellent, but 1. not easy to get it, 2. slower firing speed than normal L. Hawk, 3. limit your movement, 4. sometimes it has only 3 slots. So "Speed Shot" L. Hawk can replace Fire Rate 4 slot with Damage 6, Burst 3, Full Burst, Cornucopia 5 or Ammo Magnet 9 depending on different task. It should be the most useful weapon in this game.

There is no "5 slot" Thunder Raptor at all. All of all, finding a 4 slot L. Hawk is more likely than a Thunder Raptor, even with 3 slots only. At original, yes, unigue weapons always have faster firing rate, but after changing to "Speed Shot" (unigue weapons can not be changed), the normal type is always faster. That is why I usually prefer "No Tag" weapons to others with Tags except "speed shot" and "steady hand" as I can decide to change the tag I want. By the way, I did get many L. Hawks (Lv 47-50), but not even a thunder raptor so far.

You know why you are wrong? Because best combination is:

L.Hawk:
- Fullburst
- Gluttony 5
- Auto load 5
- Damage 6

Thunder raptor (already has Fire Rate+/ Damage+, Piercing in it):
- Burst 3 or Fullburst
- Gluttony 5
- Auto load 5
- Damage 6

Auto-shot is crap, one of the most uselles parts. Aiming in this game is easy as hell, so using it it's just waste of weapon potential. Also Lady Hunk with Speed Shoot L.Hawk or Thunder Raptor can easily stun Ghost Norman first form and kill him before he attack, no need to move or do anything else, just shoot him. In this game "DAMAGE" and killing as fast as possible means everything.

Eh, to each their own. I love Autoshot because it gives me the equivalent of a quick draw, and I can take out a room full of guys just by sweeping the crosshairs over their heads. Plus, it makes it trivial to determine which Norman is the real one, even before the heart opens. Obviously, the faster your reflexes, the less Autoshot helps you.

I must admit Thunder Raptor is far good than L. Hawk, especially with 4 slots. If I have one, certainly I'll replace my L. Hawk. This is no questable. Regarding auto-shot, it's not a useless part. At least, it let you not waste ammos. When you fire to a target, if your part is full burst or without auto-shot, you may OVERKILL, that is you waste ammos! In GS speed run, it may be ok, but for whole run, it will empty your inventory ammos soon. The other advantage for auto-shot is it lets you quick react to any unexpected attack, eg. enter a new room, deal with attacks from many enemies at the same time (like on the deck) or enemies move fast (like jumping hunters). Yes, you can just hold the left mouse button to achieve the same effect, but again you will waste some ammos (miss target and overkill) at all. I did do the experiment before (put other two weapons, machine gun / shotgun, no change). "Full burst/damage 6/auto reloder/glunnty" gave me the greatest firpower, but on the deck, I found not many ammos left in my machine gun because I wasted too many ammos in early stages.

"Full burst/auto-shot/auto reloder/glunnty" did a good job on deck fighting, but same wasted ammos in early stages. "Burst 3/Auto-shot/auto reloder/glunnty" was better than using full burst, but it's same, killing enemies in early stages is still too good, fast shooting (fire rate 4) can achieve the same effect but save ammos. "Fire rate 4/auto-shot/auto reloder 5/glunnty 5" is perfect. It's one shot one kill in early stages. Quick kill in mid-stages, then again, quick kill on the deck before two Normans. First Norman, finish him with shotgun. Ghost Norman, finish him with shotgun too, if not, quick firing speed L. Hawk can finish him as well. By the end of mission, there was still more than 300, sometimes, even 400 ammos in my machine gun, and the accuracy is 96%+ on the record. The final point is, you are not limited to use Lady Hunk only, as the firing speed is 3.75, you can use any other charactors.

As i said before aiming in this game is very easy, hard to miss in GS (this is not CS or coD).
Already i did alone several times TB and never had any problem with aiming and kill everyone before they attack me and i never run out of the ammo. GS mean learning about monster spawn, thats all. Using Auto shot really just waste potential of weapon. Yeah, yu can use it, but no metter what there are better part that can replace it and weapon will be better.

Killing hunters is easy, they are not that fast, and enemies in deck are very easy if you learn about them (respawn time and place), just learn who you must kill first and problem solved, thats how people play GS and don't waste weapon potential for uselles part.

To Devil, I must admit that you are an expert, a professional and skillful player. I can finish GS mission without using auto-shot part as well. However, many many players in this game are not so skillful, especialy when they are trying to achieve the trinity bonuses in Abyss stages alone, a auto-shot, full burst or even auto loader is a big plus. For example, in Abyss stage 18, a auto-shot weapon is very useful to deal with jumping fish if you are not to use shock grenades. The design of auto-shot has its reason. It's not useless part. Even in Revelations 2, the auto-shot part becomes a very "Rare Part". It's hard to get the part at all. I understand that an excellent player simiply doesn't want to be limited by the "AUTO". It may be shame for them, but "USELESS" is only to those excellent players, not the rest of players for this game. By the way, when you were at low level, after got the first auto-shot part, did you use it? Maybe you did, or not, or just forget.

To cshotgspot, In Abyss missions, enemies may drop ammos even you don't equip ammo magnet. It is not like in GS that you need to depend on ammo magnet and cornucopia to get extra ammos. Besides in some stages, there are some ammo boxes so you won't be running out of ammos. My experience is, to get auto reload and gluttony1, 2, 3, or 4 (this one is important) from GS mission, then go back to achieve Abyss Trinity to obtain cornucopia 3 and 4 in Stages 18 & 19. At that time, auto-shot is essential to success. By the way, Damage 1 in fact is useless to Lv 50 players or even other higher levels, but it's a "USEFUL" part for any beginners at level 1 or 2. So "USEFULNESS" is not decided by certain level players, but by the players who really need it. What I want to express is that we can't use our present staus (level) to say that we might use it before, but now it's useless to us. Auto-shot part is not a rare in REve 1, yes, you can buy it from the store, but it's a rare part in REVe 2, you may only obtain it from red code missions.
