Parries have startup frames so they're arguably not a perfect replacement, but that's its own kettle of fish.
- I know it's a meme to hate on Clairen at this point, but it feels like they made her tippers much easier to land. Or did they make the hit-stun from them longer? Whatever it is it just feels unfun to fight Clairen sometimes because you spend so much time getting stunned. I don't remember it being this bad in RoA.
If we're gonna add shields at least make it in a way that makes old Rivals players happy. I loved the action-packed constantly offensive nature of the first game, and this game completely lacks that.
Make them shields SHATTER if they're used too often! Also, actual punishments for shield breaks rather than just being launched up, thanks.
Also, the odd difference between S-Special fall and U-Special fall is just that - odd. During one, you arbitrarily cannot wall jump. I'd prefer ledges to be gone, a nerf to wall jumps in general, or a general recovery nerf to make it so you usually expend everything just to get to the ledge. All of this would be better, imo.
This game needed more time in the oven. The lack of fighters compared to the first game is staggering. It's dyin'.
I wish you could get better clarity of where Kragg's rock is when you throw it up.

I would also like some changes to some of the extremely odd hitboxes that hit well behind characters or cover them with large disjoints in directions they aren't attacking in, like Clairen dsmash protecting her shoulders (even in the opposite direction of where she's slashing), or Ranno bair hitting extremely far underneath him.
I do feel that Clairen and Zetterburn are just kind of mashy (Clairen especially) in the current state of the game, but don't really have a concrete suggestion as to how to improve them.
- Map hazzards, best to be random, so it could change battle.
- Story!?
- Better machmaking.
- Better immersion for newbies.
- Faster content updates? Takes a while to add a single character that WAS existed in first game :/
