SPOILERS and feedback: The room with ------- confusing as hell (SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED)
The room with the warm wibe with view to the outside was confusing as hell. The room which looks like outside is summer and sunny.
i entered the room, the door closed behind me. zombie attack. i kill. and then? i am locked into a room with seemingly no way out. I tried to smash the walls, climb onto the windows only to realize the view is fake like csgo 2 "live" stickers, then i tried smash windows, attack the giant gear to the machine,.I had to watch a walkthrough to get through it, only to realize i had to press e on the door. There is no door handle on the door, which would be a clue. it does not move when stuff flies at it. it is indestructible, and as low detail as the rest of the room. and it is not even lit up. i didnt even realize i had a flashlight until 15 min being trapped in a room. after watching the walkthorugh i felt stupid as hjell :D Next time please playtest a bit more.
The developer console refuses to open even after enabling it and binding it to multiple different keys. there is no way to bind mwheeldown to jump.

The ending had 2 musics playing at once and my game stopped responding and i had to close it through steam to exit. The game ended too soon. i would have hoped a little peek inside the ship of borealis itself. but sadly no. The borealis model looks cool!

It is funny that my pc with gtx 1660 super and ryzen 5 2600 and 16gb ddr4 cant run a mod for a 20 year old game more than 60 fps :D (i get it new engine and all that, its a joke).

okay, negative side aside, i actually enjoyed the game! it was kinda short to my taste, kinda like hl2 lost coast. the portal effects looked cool, but i first walked carefully past them only to realize they are solid. the visuals look amazing! the snow is decent. i like the new snow headcrabs. The mechanics are spot on from half life 2! and the menu looks like straight out of hl2 too but oddly somehow even better! For a little bit of a rushed release, you guys did a great job! i am looking forward to seeing the full game!!!

Yeah, about that room, I was stuck thinking that I was supposed to break the top of the door. Alas, the sofa has to be moved away for the door to open inwards, so it wasn't too intuitive.

yeah. i had some tiny prop blocking it when i first played it so it didnt open when i pressed e on it by myself so i ruled that out and looked for other ways to do it

Hi, we did see playtests that showed this but ultimately felt like players would be able to progress eventually and any additional changes to the door would compromise the experience. We will still think about ways to solve it.

Hey, i apreciate you ansvering my question! It is actually my first time a developer ansvers on my thread. My suggestion would be to perhaps add a door handle on it, as all the doors in hl2 that work have a door handle. But feel free to do whatever feels right. Altough my review here might seem negative, i actually enjoyed the game much! Thanks to you and your team for creating!!
