Did they fix the audio issues ?
The uplay version had very low sound level. So low that it wasn't fixable with devices where you can't crank the volume to absurd levels.
A non official fix was available on semi obscure forums though...

Did they ever fixed this ?

It's been there since the uPlay version for what, 1 year and still they didn't do a thing for it?...

Before anyone asks, NO, the patch shown out in a "gbatemp dot net" site as a Google result will NOT work with the STEAM version, only works for the uPlay version (Even though you got to use uPlay's launcher)

Whenever you grab the patch and import it into the forum above's app a message says that "Some bytes do not match with the patch's original file. Wanna apply the patch anyways?". If i say yes and keep on going the game STILL HAS THE LOW VOLUME ISSUE

I'm afraid there's no solution to this. Sure i just paid 5€ from STEAM's new offer, but didn't expected this crap to happen and even worse: Still be there since a year and some ago...

Be glad ya paid 5€ for this one tho..

Perhaps the author may be willing to make a Steam version of the patch?

The OP from the gbatemp forum's topic (Simply Google "Scott Pilgrim Audio issue" and it's the 1st link result start with gbatemp) seems to still be active.

I've sent him a PM asking kindly for help, along a clarification reply in the mentioned thread . Let's pray the good person can do another good deal again... Specially at 5$...

If you mean about the low volume, try enabling Loudness Equalization on windows, it should boost somewhat the volume making it more decent. That is what worked for me. Also the patch from GBATemp, while it increases the volume, it has its own share of problems since the dynamic range doesnt get fixed, so the cursor moving sound lowers the music volume.

Try enabling Loudness Equalization in windows, that somewhat fixed the issue for me. The "fix" on GBATemp doesnt really fix it, it just increases the overall volume, BUT it has bad dynamic range so sounds in the middle of the screen are imperceptible. The Loudness Eq fixed that

You can still refund though, that's a thing on steam.

Issues with Sound Balancing
Just checking if this is a general issue or not: The sound balance in this release is quite... strange. While using headphones, the music on the menu and in-game is in both ears, but all around sound effects are fairly muted, and are based around where you are on the screen.

For example, if you fight someone on the left side of the screen, the sound effects are just on the left channel/headphone. The reverse is also true if you're on the right side of the screen, and it's limited to the right channel. I can't recall if this was in the original release or whether this is just a weird issue with this re-release. Either way, the sound effects feel really muted.

Welcome to the forum, yeah, supposedly that's a known bug that'll probably never get fixed.

Realising that now, I've refunded. Thanks for the heads up.
