Personally, I don't enjoy having to use third-party launchers and workarounds on my Steam Deck. That's why I get games like Mass Effect: Legendary Edition or Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game on Steam. Yes, they have the DRM but it's a thin version of the client. In both cases of EA and Ubisoft Steam versions on Deck, it's really straightforward, so I'm happy to wait longer for exclusivity to end or pay a little bit more.
The Epic version is ~200 mb bigger. I think it got a patch that the Steam version didn't.
Hey Spruce,
Thanks for reaching out!
In essence, they should be the same game.
How are you getting on with it?
